Here are the three matches I had on my list that missed the cut:

10. 1990 Royal Rumble Match

8. Edge VS Shawn Michaels, Royal Rumble 2005

4. WWF Title Match: Kurt Angle VS Triple H, Royal Rumble 2001

The reasons I voted for them:

The 1990 Royal Rumble was the first PPV I ever saw. It was pretty much the event that got me into wrestling and has always held a special place in my heart. So I voted for it.

As for Edge VS Shawn Michaels, it's a great match, and I'm a huge Edge fan.

And, Kurt Angle VS Triple H for the WWF Title has to be the best heel VS heel match I've ever seen.

I agree with one of the above posts that the Edge vs HBK match was great and is pretty underratted. All 10 of my matchs are still in play here which is awesome but i had a hell of a time cutting some of my favs, like Marty vs HBK which was my choice of 1993 match of the year (better then there 2 Raw classics in my book), and Rumble 07 which had the greatest ending of all time to me, the two very best HBK and Taker one on one! i nearly died of excitement!

Funny, at first I was like "Were there really that many matches to consider? There are, afterall usually just four or five matches on the show."

But than you do the math, and you see how many matches there really are.
