Since they are the ones getting the loudest pops and Jeff's going to be in the main event, then this match would be the logical match if I am right about WWE's booking formula. Maybe it will happen at Mania. Vince wont keep Jeff down as long as he's getting the same cheers. It's amazing that he doesnt even do a lot of promos but somehow he became so popular on Raw. Someone once said that he needs to stop acting like a Hardy Boy, but the Hardy Boy music that he uses is his trademark. Do you think the match will happen or will Jeff's popularity somehow die down?

To be honest, Jeff's pop is probably the loudest, period. Much louder than Jericho's.

personally i believe that HHH gets a louder pop then Jericho... not dissing Jericho or anything but thats what i think... HBK too maybe. all i know is that Jeff has to be the most over person on the Raw brand... WWE should capitalize on this.

Jeff vs Jericho? Has potential to be phenomonal, I think. And if Jeff's popularity hasn't died down yet, I dont think it will for a long, long time.

As long as Jericho doesn't end up being the official IC belt-warmer, like he was at the end of his last run. Man did that suck.
Hardy will obviously not beat HHH, but I think the man makes a fine IC champ, and he could easily get a title program going with Kennedy or maybe Carlito, assuming Carlito starts to care a little more about his job. I would also have included Shelton on this, but the guy suddenly seems to know how to talk and, if he doesn't blow it, could be a great top guy in ECW.

For the last couple of years the reports from people at the arenas was that Matt Hardy frequently got the largest pop at SD tapings, but that did not lead them to put the title on him when they were forced to panic due to injuries. They are not necessarily willing to listen to what the fans clearly want; they still will stick to their guns even if it was proven that the guns were loaded with blanks.

I'd really like to think Jeff takes the match this weekend, HHH gives him the rub and that's that.
Rumors are obviously stating that won't happen, which while disappointing, isn't exactly the biggest shock ever.

I don't know how Jeff got so over with the crowd, but he is. Shame WWE won't ever give him a title run, as it would be well-received.

Now concern is legit when Cena returns and Lashley is back, and that'll be real concern if Jeff's main event push upward or be stalled up the ass?

As has been discussed before, Jeff has a history of substance abuse issues, as well as a history of doing what the company apparently considers to be the most disrespectful thing any wrestler can do: no-showing events. Duder really seems to have cleaned up his act, and I'm glad of this, but being the top man is a big responsibility (you have to go out to the public and meet the press with that strap on your shoulder) and it's not clear the company fully trusts him with it. I have to say, given the guy's history, I honestly don't blame them. Even if Hardy never picks up the strap, he's doing quite well for himself at the moment.

Jeff just isn't a safe investment... Not yet... Soon, maybe.
Matt is the one I would think would be a logical world champion. When he returns, I can't wait for him to get the U.S. title from MVP, who's another guy I really like.
I really hope HHH will give Jeff the rub... But he won't. If he does, I'll have a totally newfound respect for him. Jeff gets HUGE pops, even without a promo. He could actually bring great credibility to the IC title with matches like he had on Raw. I'm begging them to use him right.
