Batista interview; Low-Ki, Khali, pot. RR spoiler

The Sun web site now has an audio interview up with World Heavyweight Champion Batista. Some interesting notes came out of the interview including that it made him sick when the Great Khali was able to hold the World Title. He says that McMahon is a regular guy, but if you piss him off he becomes very intimidating.

He also says that he would like to take MVP under his wing. He would also like to see Low Ki, Christian, Booker T, and Samoa Joe all in the WWE. He says he has no clue why Booker ended up leaving.

He also speaks on a present that Undertaker gave him during their Hell in a Cell match, where Undertaker let him kick out of the tombstone. It was also mentioned that the winner of the Royal Rumble next month will receive a shot at their brand title instead of choosing what title they wanted to go after like last year.

The article has links inside to listen to the audio interview. Interesting stuff, I'm not a fan of the guy, but I've heard him say good stuff about Jamie Noble, Finlay and Christian in the past, and with some of the names he mentions here, it seems he has a good eye for talent.

I would've marked if when Taker was confronting the three champs (Cena, Batista, Lashley) and had the staredown with all 3, that he just kieled over and starting laughing uncontrollably in the face of Lashley at the prospect of challenging for the ECW title at WM.

Surprised that Batista is a fan of Ki and Joe to be honest.

Listening to it, he said he's tried to pitch (I'm not sure if he meant to WWE or to Ki) the idea of having Low-Ki and Xavier come in as a tag team. Apparently Big Dave's friends with Xavier or something.

I don't think Joe likes Batista for some comment he had about TNA. He brought up briefly on either his LJ or MySpace, I forget what it was. It was literally like, "Batista... eh, it's not worth it." or something like that.

So...either Batista is a murderer, or that Morrison's statement in a recent interview about his relationship with her being fairly open-ended now pretty much makes total sense.

Way to preserve the kayfabe there, "Big" Dave.

I personally just think it's hilarious that the nickname "Big" Dave Batista has stuck and is now appearing in the media. It would make my Christmas if Nancy Grace called him that on air, using wiggly-finger air quotes for the "Big" part.
