Just for old time's sake? When Mankind was gone by the time Undertaker hit the ring, I was a little disappointed. But Vince got chokeslammed anyway so that made up for it.

I would have marked hard. Their feud was like 2 years of RAW right there!

OH YEAH I was hoping on something but hey, we gotta realize, these two men are old. One is retired and one is barely able to wrestle now so I think in some ways its good that they didnt interact because it would have looked bad and ruined our memory of the past!

Yep, when the lights went out thats what I thought was going to happen. I wish JR would've mentioned how quickly Mankind got out of the ring, like he didnt wanna stick around when Taker was there....

After the Batista series, I don't really think Taker is struggling to be any good lately. Mick's probably rested enough to take a chokeslam or something.

was I the only one disappointed it was Corporate Mankind instead of the original? Corporate Mankind is more over with the fans.

Mankind was Undertaker's greatest feud.
Because Foley and Taker could actually do something constructive, rather than the crap feuds Vince tried to push with Taker vs Bundy/Kama/Mabel etc...

Corporate Mankind is more over with the fans. Yeah, but original Mankind is the demented awesomeness genius is made of. People forget, that when Mankind changed his attire to and shirt & tie, he was still by all intents and purposes, just as demented as he was in '97. Especially during summer 98, when he was tagging with Kane. It was only after he started getting involved with the McMahons, that he turned all goofy and lame.

Nah, Mankind running out of the ring was a good enough acknowledgment. Their feud ended indefinitely at King of the Ring '98.
