Why not? Granted he has been buried every week and has been made out to look ridiculous. But the guy has more charisma and better mic skills than just about anyone there now and can go in the ring. Forget the charsimaless and interviewless. all the charisma of a plastic plant highspot Hardy. Give Santino a run. It would be much enjoyable for us fans and could give us some great entertainment

Hardy is clearly the most popular guy on Raw right now. Seriously, he makes a good midcard heel comedy act, but that's all. Nowhere near ready for a World title. IMO, Santino is funny, but his act can only go on so long before he gets stale and putting him with the belt now would just make fans utterly hate him. He needs to be fully established first as a three-dimensional character. It is a really bad idea business wise to give the belt to a wrestler who is "over at the moment" because his heat will evantually die down in a month or two. |

i still dont see anything special about santino, or am i suppose to giggle like a school girl when he scrambles up the words in a popular catchphrase? though he would be the only WC to win his matches via rollup.

Carlito hasn't paid anything except being lazy in the ring and crying about his character. The best thing Carlito did this year was get chewed up by Flairs awesome shoot promo. Santino deserves it more than he does they gave him a hopeless character and he made the best of it. |

Lost to RVD who isn't with the company.
He can't defeat full time active wrestlers on his own. But I would love to see him replace JBL on Smackdown. He is great on the mic.

Santino? World Title?   Santino is good as comedy heel, but he's not ready for a belt, not even for the IC belt... (remember his awesome IC reign?) Santino being a WC "protegè" won't change the general crowd's take on him. Santino being moderately over as lower midcard comedy heel won't automatically translate into IC/World Champion heat Give him time, give WWE time to understand where Santino can go, give the crowd time to decide where he belongs, and then we can talk again  |
