Piper or Savage, but I'll go with Piper because Savage and Hulk were friends too much of the time and Savage always lost.
Hulk never got over on Piper. He's the man.

If you put it into perspective, who other than Macho has actually done a rap album that featured lyrical jabs at Hogan? I don't recall Kevin Sullivan droppin phat beats or Andre bustin a flow. Although I would purchase a CD featuring Andre the Giant freestylin' about being a hustler. ANREH DA JAHNT IH SREHT-UP BAHHIN'!

I said Sting only because Hogan cut a promo on the Stinger at least once a week (some times twice) for his entire WCW stint. Even when Sting wasn't talking Hogan was still badmouthing him. Piper and Macho Man are good choices too.

Someone explain Hogan Piper? Before my time, and I've never looked into it.

Someone explain Hogan Piper? Before my time, and I've never looked into it. It was pretty much the top feud in WWF from late 1984-Wrestlemania 1. They headlined a huge MSG card that aired on MTV called "The War To Settle The Score" which led to the main event of Wrestlemania 1 and the Wrestling Classic PPV. When Hogan formed the nWo in 96, Piper appeared and this time the roles were reversed as Hogan was the heel and Piper was the face. Even though it wasn't a workrate freak's dream, I loved the feud personally.

Savage.
Megapowers explode defined a rivalry that went on and even translated into real life animosity/hate/obsession.

Why is everybody saying Savage? That's nonsense. The Joker to Hogan's Batman is clearly Piper.
Just because Savage and Hogan have a real life dislike doesn't make them on the same level as Austin-Rock or Flair-Sting. Aside from their little Mega Powers break up back in '89 and a few rumblings in WCW, there wasn't much rivalry to them. And when you think of Savage's nemesis, I wouldn't say Hogan. I'd say Flair or Warrior.
Hogan-Piper easily. Look at the evidence:
- the huge feud that headlined Wrestlemania I, started the rock n wrestling connection, headlined two MTV specials. It then resurfaced in 1996 with the whole "Icon" feud. Then is blew up AGAIN in WWE with the Mr America stuff. There is much more material, more memories and more significance to the Hogan-Piper stuff than the Hogan-Savage stuff.

2 votes for Earthquake?! Some peeps out there actually think their 6 month feud is the career defining rivalry of Hogan's entire legacy. Come on now.
