Oftentimes in wrestling, rivalries develop that define careers. The Rock vs. Austin. Flair vs. Sting. Bossman vs. Snow. They go hand in hand, and it's nearly impossible to think of one without thinking of the other.
Hulk Hogan is probably the biggest name in the history of professional wrestling, and has been involved in a countless number of feuds.
The question is, who do you consider to be his all time greatest rival?

Kayfabe wise, Kevin Sullivan. Even back in his FCW days he was an anti-Hogan of sorts. Always evil.

Even though they never really had but one one-on-one match I'd have to say Piper but for a while there Orndorff was a very close second.

I think you could make a case for his 1987-88 feud with Andre being the biggest and most remembered feud of his career. You could make a case for Piper or Savage as well, but I think his feud with Andre was career defining (or defining for the whole industry).

Going by WrestleManias... I'd say Andre. They headlined 'Mania 3 and then turned around and did the 'Mania IV match to help hype that show.

Kayfabe, how can you NOT pick Savage?
Seriously....
But, if there's one feud the folks remember, it's with Andre, no question. The Warrior one was cute and all, but Andre is what put it all on the table, and non-wrestling fans still know who Andre was.
Princess Bride FTW.

In my mind, kayfabe wise, you could make just as much of a case for Piper as you could for Savage.

Heenan was pretty much the one constant thorn in his side, really. From the WWF into WCW.

If you put it into perspective, who other than Macho has actually done a rap album that featured lyrical jabs at Hogan? I don't recall Kevin Sullivan droppin phat beats or Andre bustin a flow. Although I would purchase a CD featuring Andre the Giant freestylin' about being a hustler.
