I got the new John Cena DVD for my birthday, and I watched it earlier today. It's three dics long. Disc 1 is his biography. I enjoyed it. You really got to know him. Basically, it confirmed whatI already assumed. Cena is an overall nice guy, whose living a dream. What bothered me in his biography was that at times, guys like Edge would start to go into kayfabe (though, not all the time in his speaking parts). I dont really see the point of that. It kind of took away from the DVD's sincerity/credibility(?). Kayfabe aside, it was still really enjoyable. I still can't believe how much muscle mass Cena lost since entering the WWE. He had to have been on the juice during his body building days.
Disc 2 was his match disc. It has 7 matches, and I have to say, i was disappointed in the selection. The most recent match was with him and Edge in the TLC match. I can't believe they didn't put in any of the Jericho/Cena world title matches in there (especially the Summerslam one). All his wrestlemania matches I believe were left off, which I found odd. Especially since they were enjoyable.
Disc 3 was full of the 5 question segment with John Cena. I had only once seen this segment before. I can't believe how bad/funny that thing was. Seriously, Cena needs to bring that side out more often. He was far more charismatic in those questions than his promos on Raw.
Overall, I recommend this DVD to anyone that likes Cena. The match selection was disappointing, but, seeing as how the 'E has him as the future, I'm sure it was done on purpose to make more money on a future DVD.
