IMO, the only really good thing that came of Warrior's WCW run was this segment. Hell, I really, really loved this segment.
With that said, I was a really huge Wo-yah mark way back when.

This was the beginning of my friends and I really harping on WCW and stickin with WWF. The crowd pointing under the ring pointing out where Warrior is hiding was a joke for years to come for us.

Even though his WCW run sucked major balls, he did get one hell of a pop there, I don't remember it being that loud.

I was recently re-reading Death of WCW and that segment was originally only scheduled to last 5-6 minutes, but Warrior dragged it on for nearly twenty minutes and the whole show had to be rewritten.
Initially The Warrior received a good reaction, but it quickly faded.
I remember marking hard for his entrance, but when it started talking, and going on and on I switched back over to Raw.

He had to go on and on and on and on and on and on... One can see why this man can be difficult to work with.

"UN-CRE-ATE-A-BULL!"
Also, that was a wicked cool entrance theme.

I was there live. It was the only WCW event I ever went to, and It was cool, because It was the first Time Nitro was "up north" in Hartford, WWE territory. So WCW wanted to really rub it in WWE's faces, and that's the reason why we heard all that bashing commentary, that I missed live ofcourse.
I heard rumors that Ultimate Warrior was going to show up like 2 hours before the event. Apparently It was on the internet, and on radiostations ect..ect. That's why there was such a huge pop, because the fans had time to soak it in. Them being in Hartford was the reason why WCW chose that night to have warrior debut.
Also, after Bret Hart made his enterance to face DDP and before DDP came out, they went to commercial. When they were in commercial, Bret got on the Microphone and started hammering the crowed real hard. He yelled "STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN NEVER BEAT ME IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE!!!" and was just yelling alot of WWE related stuff, not necessarily for or against them though, but was getting tons of cheap heat as a heal.
Also, there were a group of fans pointing on the ground at the ring when warrior disappeared. They thought that they "figured it out" and started laughing, but there was a cable guy wrapping cords or something there. I'm pretty sure that warrior escaped through a trap door in the ring. There was no sign of him leaving the ring, because on tv, the whole arene looks clouded, but live, it was just inside the ring that was clouded, and you could see clear as day out side the ring.

"This dude must be your barber." Haha!
How many different words did he say that ended with "-able"?

To be in the nWo, did you have to have blonde hair, and be covered in baby oil?
