I was marking so Hard for this, Ron Simmons was one of my favorites back then. I really liked his wrestling style hard hitting and awesome powermoves.

I've seen the video before, and didn't have to watch to know what part you were talking about ;D
The crowd really did go wild for the end though, good stuff

I saw this when they first aired it, so before even watching it I'm going to guess 3:10 is the gapped tooth black kid who's crying... How can you see timers on Dailymotion vids???

Simmons was pretty over at this point. I loved the hot crowd and JR was badass on commentary.
Thinking about it, Simmons was kinda underrated during his career

I get a VERY Surfer Sting vibe from John Cena, and segments like these, make me think that if Vince had Sting signed instead of Ric Flair, Sting would have been in Bret Hart's spot and wrestling would be entirely different...

Simmons was pretty over. But didn't they turn him into a mid-card champion after this? Kind of like what the WWE did with Big Show in 1999.

He would always be second to last on the card or third. I was really looking forward to seeing Rick Rude vs. Ron Simmons at Starrcade 92 but Rude got hurt and "Dr.Death" Steve Williams had to replace him.

Ron Simmons & Big Van Vader, were my two favorite Wrestlers at the time. I was really excited to see the match and elated when it was over. I was proud of Ron Simmons for getting the chance to run with the ball, he didnt get a quality run but at least he got one.

Most crowds were back then..that was before everyone became a wrestling critic and arm chair booker. Most people actually went to just have fun and see the matches.

He defended his title against the Barbarian at Halloween Havoc. The Barbarian? Really? You guys couldnt find ANYONE else? Really, WCW......The Barbarian? HE was your choice? There was nobody else on the roster who could have been a better pick? Wow......

I would've had them do a rematch of the Clash of Champions match with Cactus Jack from the previous month, but this time it would be a "Falls Count Anywhere" match or something. Barbarian does look intimdating, but doesn't look like a guy who should be challenging for the World Title,IMO.
