Wow, at youtube I happened upon the live-episode of Richard Belzer's then-talk show back in the 1980s where the Hulkster placed Belzer in a chin lock, who promptly passes out, falls to the floor, which cuts a visible blood gash on his neck. Belzer then sued Hogan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP7u5Djca3oHere's a Rewriting the Book challenge to Jed the Man.................what if Hogan had killed Belzer?

I heard Belzer do stand up about this. It was really funny. Remember his roast of Chevy Chase? ""The only time Chevy Chase has a funny bone in his body is when I f*** him in the ass!"

no one took belzer serious cuz he fake fell out 2 seconds before this Oh yeah, then he actually does drop...and that moment of uneasyness, and Mr. T trying to crack a joke (I assume he figured it was part of the act). Still, I laughed when Belzer, bloodied neck and all, gets up quickly and says "we'll be back!"

I dunno, Belzer drops REALLY fast, I think that was planed, but belzer fell improperly Exactly. Recently there was another video posted of Giant Haystacks demonstrating a bodyslam on a TV presenter which also looked pretty stiff which lends credence to the school of thought which says the problem is not so much the wrestler as the person on the other end not being professionally trained(Hell, even a little Snapmare or Forearm can hurt you alot if you don't know how to properly protect yourself), to take even a wrestling move, which probably lead both men to panic a little and end up taking the move improperly, injuring themselves.
