Actually, no he doesn't. It's just his opinions on this week's Impact. Once again, I swear he's channeling my thoughts and putting them on his website. I really need to have my lawyer call him.

Honestly, I love Lance, but he seems absolutely obsessed with TNA at this point. If watching it is such a chore, he really just needs to cut it out of his schedule.

I'm surprised, Lance didn't write an essay on it. He's slacking.
What happened here?

In his defense, he said it's the first time he's watched it in a while, and he thought he'd give it a chance. Plus, he's retired. He's got a lot of time on his hands. EDIT: He also writes his thoughts on RAW, SmackDown, and ECW. I just didn't figure they should be included in the (w)rest of section.

Now that Lance is essentially retired, he has every right to go on the internet and voice his opinions..... exactly the same way that each and every one of us do.

Meh i like Lance but he's talking out of his ass here. I've said before that TNA is inconstant, this week it was great last week it was horseshit. Really man, if you just watch the show you don't even really think about the things lance said.

Lance has shot on TNA before. Not the first time, won't be the last time, and that's a comment on how stubborn TNA management is and how sceptic Lance is. Can't be helped sometimes.
At least we know he's a MCMG mark. See, everyone? All the cool kids like MCMG. You should too.

Why does every Lance Storm commentary on iMPACT! get its own thread? It's the same thing, week after week. Lance doesn't like TNA's booking, we get it.

I agree on his complaints about the MCMG squashing part, that was plain stupid.

- Does anyone give a rat's ass about this Pacman dude? I'd never even heard of him before TNA hired him, and on top of that he's terrible. Ah money well spent. - I swear Impact's ratings were alomost exactly the same back when their pay roll was about $1,000,000 to $1,500,000 a year less. On top of that, I think the show was better then too.
Those are the two important questions and are very good answers as to why TNA is a horrible business model.

I just watched the show on DVR, I don't get Lance Storm's complaints about Karen Angle offering guys a world title shot if they won.
Um, okay Lance...Karen had to find a partner for her husband, who is obsessed with gold (even the tag belts), and probably can't stay champion for very long fighting by himself.
Thus, because Kurt Angle loves gold so much, and has since at least 1996 (in case Lance missed an Impact or two), she wanted to make her husband happy by finding him a great partner. Also, she wants to make him happy because she loves him (which is why they're married, Lance), and we've seen that he's a real "jerk", "bully", and miserable towards her when he isn't. So she has personal motives, and they aren't even that selfish. Yes, by offering title shots, she's possibly putting Kurt's world title reign in danger, but isn't marriage about making uneasy compromises and sacrifices sometimes for day-to-day happiness?
All of this made complete, 100% sense in the kayfabe reality of TNA, plus you have to dangle the "title shot" carrot to the four contenders because...
1. Nobody likes Kurt Angle.
2. Nobody had any incentive to team with Kurt Angle.
3. The participants of the four-way were supposedly done by "lottery drawing", which put random babyfaces (Sting and Joe) in the match. Why the hell would they care about winning the match? To be tag champs with a partner they can't stand, and stuck in tag team matches at PPVs when they'd probably rather go after bigger prizes like, I don't know...world titles?
4. If Sting, Joe, A.J., or Christian really cared about being the tag champs in storyline sense, wouldn't they currently have already found a really great tag team partner, compete in primarily in the tag-team division trying to win matches, move up the tag ranks, and not concentrate on their singles careers? If nobody in the match wanted to be Angle's tag team pal, all four guys could've just gotten themselves counted out. This is probably why Karen Angle felt she needed to put something extra at stake.
Maybe I'm totally wrong here, but Lance Storm's just looking for stuff to gripe about when he brings up simple, basic stuff like this. It really isn't confusing. TNA's got booking problems (like making MCMG look like jobbers), but every single motivation for every character in that main event story/match made sense to me...and it looks like Angle/Sting is definitely gonna be at Bound For Glory, and if that means no Angle/Jarrett for all the gold, that's a yet another definite bonus coming out of that story last night. Thought the four-way was pretty darn good too, for a TV main event.

I usually agree with Lance, but this 'recap' failed to even mention the very good match that took up nearly HALF the show!
That's not giving credit where credits due.
In MY opinion last impact had the inexcusible (two top talents in the MCMG jobbing to talentless has-beens VKM) and a very good long match.
To mention one without the other is not a fair review. Anyone who just read Lance's view without watching the show would think there was no good wrestling on the show.
