I heard he locked her in another room while he wrestled, not a closet.

I heard a few people say that, I think Santana said that in an interview, not sure what magazine it was for. I could be mistaken, but wouldn't be too surprised if it were true.

Well, Savage is crazy, so I wouldn't put anything past him.

According to most shoot interviews I saw, it was true. Pretty much everyone confirmed it that was asked the question.

Well, now I don't know what to believe... It wasn't in a way that was insulting, just making a reference of it, forgot how it came up though. Savage's jealousy and paranoia was well-documented on various shoots such as Bad News Brown and Billy Jack Haynes.

I believe it. I also believe that her death, years after he and she had anything to do with each other really sent him off the deep end.

Savage did lock Elizabeth in their dressing room, at least according to George "The Animal" Steele. I asked him about it a few years ago and he was hesitant to go into details, but yeah. It's not just a rumor.

Point of order: If Savage were out wrestling, wouldn't Elizabeth, as his manager, have needed to be with him?

Point of order: If Savage were out wrestling, wouldn't Elizabeth, as his manager, have needed to be with him? exactly I always thought he was paranoid and crazy only in kayfabe terms, but I guess he was liked that when the cameras stopped rolling as well. That's what made it so believable, Savage wasn't acting.

Savage is a little nuts....okay a lot nuts, but I met him one at a Wal-Mart autograph session for his rap CD, listened to it once, never again, but he seemed like a nice guy

In WCW, Bobby Hennan would always call Randy Savage the most dangerous man in professional wrestling.

I'm not sure about Liz, but I bet Randy wanted to keep Lanny in the closet.

he did indeed lock Elizabeth up b/c he was extremely insecure. He did the same with Gorgeous George. I have heard numerous people that wrestled with him say this.

That's what made it so believable, Savage wasn't acting. I don't think my point was understood: He couldn't have locked her up while we was wrestling. She would have needed to be at ringside, too. Maybe he locks her up later while he's taking a post-match dump, but not during his match.
