...was AWFUL!
Pacman Jones' cover and Abyss' tapout BOTH were not on screen and I guess there were several minor things the cameras did not catch.
Seriously, what the hell was wrong there? Did they hire some new people, who are new to this? It's a live PPV where you cannot edit things out and you cannot afford to have this sort of crappy camerawork since it makes the whole company look unprofessional.
Seriously if I were in Jarrett's or Dixie Carter's place I would have a serious talk with some people and if necessary fire the one responsible to replace him with someone more competent.

I agree, it really was bad and hampered an otherwise good ppv. I think the problem was more with the person deciding which camera to cut to, the lingering cut to an empty entrance tunnel during a match for example. The sound was as terrible as it normally is though.
Maybe Kurt wanted to run the production as well as wrestling 3 times.

It is either the director's fault for calling a cut to that particular camera or the switcher for cutting when they weren't supposed (either before or after the call was made.) The blame cannot be pointed in any other direction, I've had enough studio experience to know that.

The live shows never seem to come off good production wise. Either the sound is way too low or the camera misses stuff. I have always heard that its hard to air wrestling live and this is just one of those growing pains that will hopefully work itself out soon.

Can TNA not afford good camera staff I don't think its not that they can't afford one, its that its such a special skill that it takes awhile to pick up. You don't want to show too much (people calling spots or moves that miss that people sell) or too little (missing pins and things like that). I don't know if they have one constant crew or change people in and out but, this is one of those things that takes time to develop both in direction and filming.

And the sad part is, if Kurt wanted to run the production, they'd probably let him.

They have a horrific production staff. They should all be fired, before Russo at least.

Honestly, it's really hard to find good help nowadays, so they're probably keeping the people they got as best they can. Their TV show is generally better handled since it's taped while their PPV's don't always work quite well, camera-wise

I've seen indies with better coordination. Seriously, TNA has always had bad production. It's (oddly) one of the things that turns some people away from it (mostly for the 'cheesy' appearance).
Their pyros have gotten slightly better at least. At one point everyone and their mother's sister had some kind of crappy pyro.
