Wasn't Chamberlain 7'1''? Judging from this picture, Andre was about 7' or 6'9''.

Just going by the picture, it looks like Wilt is standing straight, and Andre isn't.
Plus, Andre's condition meant that he was continually growing his entire life. So this wasn't even him at his tallest.

Connan the Destroyer came out in 1984, so I would say that this was taken when Andre was past his prime. I'm sure at one time he was bigger than Wilt, but not at the time the photo was taken.

Khali is taller.
Andre is slouching a tad, but I'd say he was like 6'10-11 or so.

crazy. he's taller, in better shape and uglier than Andre. But he still doesn't come close to scaring me as much as andre did.

Andre would've been much better off using The Claw in his later days. It would've helped hide his weaknesses, which had multiplied.

Andre was a Giant in a world of Bob Backlunds and such where the tallest guy was like 6'4".
Khali is around in an age where Paul Wight, Kevin Nash, Undertaker, and Kane are running around being tall already. And the average height in the "big leagues" nowadays is significantly taller than 20-30 years ago.

actually arnold's size has been disputed he's been reported at 5'10" Which isn't really that bad. Most people are shorter than that.

Apparently Hogan slammed a few inches off of him at Wrestlemania III. He really did look around Paul Wight's size during that event. Shortly after that he looked shorter than the Undertaker. Also, in 1991, Earthquake (who I believe was 6' 7") looked taller than the Giant. Also, Andre was slouching since the late 80's making him appear an inch or two shorter.

His body may of been degenerating. He was growing still, yeah, but likely mostly in mass. His bones and joints were wearing down.

Andre's height is one of those things that is always being debated, with people who worked with him arguing for both sides.
I've seen full length pictures of him in which he appeared every bit as tall as Paul Wight. And I've seen others in which he looks to more around 6'10", 6'11". Obviously his medical condition comes in to play but I'm not sure that explains every photo. His legit height will probably never be 100% known.
He was, however, a true giant, and in my opinion, the best in the business.
