I'm sure this was buried somewhere in between 12 nWo promos. Good lord, but Raven could've been a great heel champion, feuding with the likes of Goldberg, DDP, Sting and Benoit. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJo3NYYcRNc

I don't think he was meant to be a headliner or a huge main event guy, I think Raven himself said he was upper card and seemed content with that.

Raven was one of the four wrestlers on the WCW/nWo Revenge cover art. In the video game world, he was as big as Hogan.

WCW was always great, come to think of it. The nWo thing was just overdone.

Raven is one of those wrestlers you knew was awesome simply because his promos were creepy and surreal and would make you think.
It's a shame how much Scott Levy hasn't had a decent break in every promotion he's been in other than the original ECW. The guy is definitely money wherever he goes.

When he showed up in WCW I assumed with in two years he'd be main eventing against the likes of Sting, but it just wasn't meant to be. Be it his own doing, or backstage politics.

WCW really blew it with Raven. At the very least, the guy should have a decent US title run, rather than winning it, only to be steamrolled by Goldberg in a near squash a day later.
A Raven/Sting feud over the title in early 98 would have kicked ass

Raven in WCW was amazing. Under-utilized, for sure, but he himself shone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; Raven cuts the best promos ever.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; Raven cuts the best promos ever. And Ive said before: Raven/Jake Robers/Piper need to be hired by the WWE to teach some guys how to cut a good promo. In fact, I'd even suggest 'Promo cutting' 101 be taught in OVW
