I'd just like to mention, being as I am from Winnipeg, that this promotion is pretty awful.
And by awful, I mean ... bad.

OK, the guy's been a promoter for six years, tells an out of town talent, on the day of the show, who he's working, and that he's doing the job. The day of thing is the part that gets me. And his logic of "you remember, he worked AJ last year", since I'm sure it's policy for this guy's workers to remember whom friends of theirs worked matches with the previous year. In essecne, it was "hey Joe, you're working this guy, who you must know since he worked a match with AJ last year, and AJ's your friend. You're doig the job to the guy, who you once again aren't familiar with, and he's going to be finishing with a head-droppy move despite you outweighing him by a hundred pounds ". Bingo. I think that was a brilliant summary.

Pathetic Joe. Get over yourself He could sure learn a lesson or two in humility from some internet armchair critics who believe in the IWC. lol@irony.

According to one of Raven's shoot interviews, bigger name guys don't usually know who they're facing in the event until the day of the show. He said it's because when they're contacted to work, who they're working isn't usually relevant and bigger names tend to change their mind about what they wanna do if they know what they're supposed to do in advance. Unless they're regulars and part of a storyline, most indie guys don't know who they're working or what they're doing until that day

I promptly marched up to Joe's room where he was enjoying his third or fourth quarter pounder of the day. I reminded him of his flight information and informed him that someone would be at the hotel in the morning to drive him and Sabin.
LOL @ fatty
But seriously, I don't know what happened but I will give Joe the benefit of the doubt until he starts pulling this shit a few more times

I'm gonna guess that this story might have been slightly exaggerated by the promoter, but until we hear Joe's side, or start hearing about more behavior from Joe like this at other shows, then I'm gonna take a neutral stance on it.

tna talent cant job? shelley and sabin lost to ultimo and liger a few months ago. 1. We're assuming it was actually said. 2. They might of gotten prior permission. 3. They're not main eventers in TNA.

Normally I'd call pettyness since promoters aren't usually always the most reliable of people, but going by how he expressed it without trying to make TNA or any of it's wrestlers look bad (and I think it sounded kinda reasonable), then I'm kind of unsure. It seems pretty detailed and he doesn't avoid putting blame on himself.
Hmm.

tna talent cant job? shelley and sabin lost to ultimo and liger a few months ago. if TNA wrestlers weren't allowed to job, Shelley wouldn't have lost to Roderick Strong during the Battle of Los Angeles 2007. also, the situation some what different as Ultimo Dragon and Jushin Liger are just a little bit bigger stars than Kenny Omega

Joe would be losing to a jabroni who can't really piece together a match. i respect joe's choice.

Sloppy, and really nothing special.

Like that means anything nowadays. I mean SYdal worked some of his worst matches in his career with AJ Styles.
AJ doesn't have as big a name as Joe does. So I respect Joe's decision. this might turn me BACK into a joe mark.

Honestly, if I were Joe, and I was being booked as a guy who didn't lose much...I wouldn't get why I'd put someone over in some no-name fed cleanly.
That's just me. It might be cool, but I'd scratch my head about it.
