sure, there's a lot of criticism when it comes to his booking style, but he's a freaking genius compared to what tna currently has going on. what do they have to lose?

I think he should at least sit in on meetings if he doesn't already.

Cornette, Nash and Raven would be an awesome team I think.

Cornette, Nash and Raven would be an awesome team I think. Maybe. cornette for the old school, Nash for the Sports Entertainment and comedy, and Raven for the bridge between the gaps.

Maybe HE doesn't want to? Perhaps he's happy just filling whatever role it is that he fills now and doesn't want the pressure or responsibility of booking? Do we know that he has a DESIRE to book?
These are the questions nobody ever asks.

That hurt to type.

He just wants to relax, collect his pay checks and go home. Not everyone has hard ons for stress.

Because he hates Russo and probably wouldn't want to work with him.

In my dream promotion, Cornette, Raven, Heyman, and Nash would book. I'd <3 it.

Does everyone forget that Cornette was heavily involved in WWE creative during the "New Generation" era?
Cornette has some value to the business and could be used for some ideas. But overall he's way behind the times.
Also when Nash filled in for Bischoff in WCW, it was some of the blandest, nonsensical programming of it's time.

Not everyone has hard ons for stress. thats what's sad-when you just wanna get a check and go home, I know that's why they're there, so long as you don't make it look that way. I hope he still has some desire and passion

It would possibly be a good product, that people want to watch, and TNA obviously don't want that.

Like it would make a difference.
Not like any era of TNA was met with complete positivity. The 1st Russo era had complaints, The Dusty era had complaints. Hell, even the D'Amore era had complaints. The original TNA creative team(pre-Russo) got complaints, and it continues today, and would probably continue even if you get the Cornette/Raven/Nash/God/Jesus/Bruce Campbell/Scott Steiner booking dream team people want.

Because that's something that would actually make sense, in turn helping TNA get over. That's not something they can let happen. Perhaps in a different dimension?

I'm not a big fan of Cornette as lead booker. He's way too old-school for my tastes. I would give him some creative power, but I wouldn't let him run things. Same goes with Raven and even Kevin Nash. As I've said numerous times in the past, my (realistic) "dream" booking team would consist of Scott D'Amore and Vince Russo. D'Amore can write one hell of a story, but sucks in the "character" department. Russo, on the other hand, is great with characters but is insanely out-of-touch when it comes to what the fans want to see. A D'Amore-scripted story using Russo's characters would be killer in my book.

I don't think Cornette is really 'with it', anymore. His character is just.... well, it makes me want to change the channel and not change back. He hasn't evolved his character in I don't know how long except for losing the tennis racquet. I don't think he has a mind for the business as it is today and going back in time to where he was a creative genius is not a great idea.
As for Raven...no. Just no.
