-At last night’s TNA Impact tapings Jessica James worked a match with TNA Knockout Gail Kim. James works for Booker T's PWA Promotion in Texas under the ring name Poison. She is a Houston, Texas native.
Seriously, how often do they bring in random jobbers from anywhere but Florida? It looks like their trying to say if Booker comes in, they will use his students or something like that.

So what if they're sucking up to Booker. He has his own roster, fresh faces that can be jobbed out on tv, and who knows how many of those students could develop into the next big thing. From a long term business standpoint, having Booker on their team is a win-win scenario.

"Sucking up" to Booker makes perfect sense. TNA's roster is already big enough, but they'd be fools not to at least try to bring him aboard. He'd easily be their biggest name next to Kurt Angle. And taking advantage of his school and promotion is also a good move. It never hurts to have more than one facility to utilize for talent, especially one headed by someone as respected as Booker T.

From a long term business standpoint, having Booker on their team is a win-win scenario. Agreed. And this is coming from someone who rags on TNA for using too many WWE guys. Utilizing Booker in some form (be it having him wrestle, using PWA guys, or whatever) is win-win.

well they are also trying to build up the women's division, and finding competent women wrestlers is a bit harder than finding competent male wrestlers. so they have to bring them in from elsewhere. or it could be what you suggest i guess.

I thought Booker and some of the TNA guys were on good terms already as he's had Team 3D and Jay Lethal on his PWA shows in recent months.

Well, they also used Disco Inferno, Johnny Swinger and Joey Mercury in the past week. They've used Kenny King a lot in the past. I can't speak on all of them, but I think the bulk of those aren't from Florida. Jed Shaffer ~And if they suck up to Booker, so what? Makes good business sense.

Johnny Swinger has been an agent for them for a while and looks like he will now be teaming with Matthews. Kenny King has wrestled in Florida for a while. Disco, I dont know, but I'll mark.

Jessica James = Poison = ODB.
This isn't news...and this was before Booker T's release...
Research people, it's good for the soul.

Maybe they're thinking of using Booker's PWA group as a feeder company in the future? That might be a good idea in theory. Also, if Booker is coming back to TV any time soon thanks to 'sucking up', so be it. I'll be marking out!

yeah, maybe PWA will become TNA's first developmental territory or something(although I bet they wish it was closer to Orlando, but hey, what can ya do)

They should hire Stevie Ray instead and put him on commentary...

of course they'd want to lure Booker into their fed, I mean he's a legit Main Eventer who headlined most ppv's in 2006. I think it'd be smart for TNA to pick up Book and start a relationship with PWA. I mean PWA has been using TNA talents once WWE pulled all their talent
Also I'd love BOOK on commentary he's real awesome at that.
Screw Tenay.
DW/Book/Nash for announce team

They should hire Stevie Ray instead and put him on commentary... It's a crime that Stevie Ray isn't doing commentary on a national stage anymore. And Lord knows that TNA's current commentary team is the craps.

He's used both TNA and WWE guys before. I guess now it'll just be TNA guys. Actually since WWE chose that FCW promotion over Booker's established PWA, he could no longer use WWE talents after that, so since he has friends in TNA he is always able to get some of their performers in his show, the second to last show he had included AJ Styles. I'm guessing Booker started using these TNA performers to spite WWE. By this time, the steroid scandal including Booker's name had already broke which in turn led to Booker sitting out of WWE and eventually being released

Of course TNA will try to sign up Booker T. He was a former top-belt champ, and a main event, brand name that can get some asses in those TV taping seats.
Then again, how many black-own wrestling promotions are there in America anyway?

In the spoilers, they said Gail wrestled someone who had a hard to pronounce name.
Jessica James is hard to pronounce?
