When I saw the ending of the match, the first place I thought of was how the WC forums and how they were taking it.

I'm only fine if MCMG eventually come out on top of this feud.

When I saw the ending of the match, the first place I thought of was how the WC forums and how they were taking it. Maybe their income now comes from getting heat from the IWC. I thought it was just lame for two aging guys who are living on 1997-2004 destroying two guys are still in the process of moving up. If the MCMG go over in this feud, then this whole thing would be great. If not, it will be another thing for the IWC to complain about TNA.

BURNING ISSUES: HAVE THE MOTOR CITY MACHINEGUNS BITTEN OFF MORE THAN THEY CAN CHEW? By Gerry Strauss
They are young. They are brash. They are bold. They are extremely popular with TNA fans. Most importantly, they are good… really good. They are Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, the Motor City Machineguns, and they just might represent a new generation of tag team wrestling.
Looking back, perhaps it was always meant to be. Both trained together. Both focused on developing innovative, fast-paced offense that would later allow for individual successes in the TNA X-Division. Both men struggled with various growing pains, mentors, friends and tag partners throughout their years in TNA, all while turning heads with their revolutionary in-ring abilities.
On the surface, philosophical differences seemed to guarantee that Shelley and Sabin would never be on the same page, but history, fate, and a shared passion for competition finally united them as a team earlier in 2007. Displaying a level of cooperative timing far beyond their years, the newly-dubbed “Motor City Machine Guns” brought their innovative “X-Division” style to the tag division, and began winning fans every time they stepped into the ring.
Unfortunately, winning matches has not been quite as effortless for Shelley and Sabin, as they’ve quickly found out just how competitive the TNA Tag Team division can be. Despite their growing fanbase, they have been forced to play second fiddle to the upper tier of teams fighting for dominance, even punked out by the likes of TNA’s resident bullies, Team 3D. For awhile, it seemed like the MCMG’s were simply destined to remain second-stringers in TNA’s all-star tag scene.
However, if you have followed Shelley and Sabin’s careers, you probably realized that they would not go quietly into that good night. Not Shelley, the star whose “Paparrazzi-Cam” thrust him into the TNA spotlight. Not Sabin, whose four X-Division Championships proved his mettle. No, if the MCMG’s were not getting the attention they felt they deserved, they were going to do something about it…and boy, did they ever.
It was “Bound For Glory”, TNA’s biggest Pay-Per-View ever. It was The Steiner Brothers vs. Team 3D, two of the greatest teams ever going at it in a final, violent “Tables match” showdown. Most would be intimidated to get anywhere near that war zone, but Shelley and Sabin did just that, coming to ringside and doing what they do best…making a scene, causing a ruckus and entertaining the masses…everyone, that is, except Brother Ray and Brother Devon, who were distracted long enough for the Steiners to gain the decisive win. The deed was done, Team 3D were embarrassed, and the Motor City Machine Guns had gotten their revenge in front of TNA’s biggest audience ever, but at what cost?
After all, Team 3D are the most accomplished, successful team in professional wrestling history, and they didn’t get there by being nice guys. They like to brawl, they like to pummel, and they like to destroy their opponents, often by putting them through hard, wooden tables. To them, the six-sided ring is simply a starting point for a street fight, an invitation for violence. No matter the scenario, when the dust settles and the smoke clears, Brothers Ray and Devon are usually left standing.
Even worse, Team 3D are incensed that Shelley and Sabin cost them their shot at destroying the Steiner Brothers once and for all. Before, they probably wrote off the MCMG’s as pests…now, they are targets. Now, the biggest, baddest, toughest team in TNA is coming for some revenge of their own, and the first shot was fired this week on “iMPACT”. As we saw, Sabin and Shelley were set to go against each other as part of the “Fight For Your Right” tournament. They expected to engage in friendly competition for a shot at glory. What they did not expect was to be jumped by Team 3D while they were most vulnerable. Should they have expected anything different?
Face it, Shelley and Sabin have knowingly earned the hardcore wrath of wrestling’s most devastating duo, and they have to realize that Team 3D won’t stop until they’ve caused some serious damage. Then again, individually and collectively, the MCMG’s have always found ways to beat the odds. The question is: do even THEY have enough tricks up their sleeves to make their mark against the biggest bullies in TNA?

A feud with 3D makes sense. Beloved team vs despised team. I'm sure MCMG will win it. For all the hate they get, Team 3D claimed in their shoot interview that they were going to take a paycut in the WWE and be used to put over new teams. Sabin/Shelley win..go on to the tag titles..pink lemonade and pecan pie for all.
