Not to sound like a dick or anything but I don't really care about him. I never liked him when he was alive and it'd be fake of me to like someone just because he passed. I'm sorry for his family and everything because they lost a loved one but I'm not gonna cry over it.

I can understand your stance, Zane. I love Eddie, so I was sad. I felt the way you did when Crush died, though.

Yeah its been almost two years and it STILL doesnt seem real. I still miss Eddie. He was awesome and I think we can all agree Smackdown has not been the same since the day he was gone.

I always thought he was a boring wrestler and I don't miss him and have never pretended to miss him. It's sad that he died as young as he did, but I got over it pretty quickly. I've never felt sad that a wrestler has died.

No Way Out 2004 is one of the only single brand PPV's I bought on DVD, only because Eddie won the belt. Kurt Vs. Eddie at WM was my favorite match on the card, the boot spot had me laughing so hard.
Eddie was one of the few wrestler who could make me laugh out loud while watching a match, it's him, Colt Cabana and Dude Love.
His mannerism's were unlike any wrestler before him and there hasn't been anyone close to him. The Smackdown 6 was an amazing era and it's hard to believe 2 of them are gone.
I miss Eddie I have a few of his matches where he teamed with Art Barr on DVD, they accompanied by Louie Spicoli, they're all gone. Konnan was with them too sometimes and a few months ago I though he was going to be gone as well. Los Gringos Locos were the best.

I'm just confused. For those of you who didn't like Eddie/Don't miss him, why even bother posting in the thread?
And you do realize a lot of workers take after him, I.E Shelley, Sabin, etc.

And you do realize a lot of workers take after him, I.E Shelley, Sabin, etc. Attention. And to "be different." Woo hoo! I miss watching him on TV, but I'm mostly sad when I think about his death because he had taken all the steps to change his life so he WOULDN'T die young. By all accounts, he wanted to see his kids grow up and provide a better life for his family. It's sad that all his hard work to stay clean and on track didn't pay off in the long run, but atleast he went out with a great deal of dignity.

I hate this, "don't got anything to say, don't post" logic. I just wrote down how I feel about him as did you, I just didn't say "Eddie, we miss u".

I don't see the connection between Eddie & "Hurt." The subject matter of the song, I dunno, just didn't follow Eddie's passing at all.
