Perhaps, but they at least have editors who know what the hell they're doing to where it's not freakishly obvious. Not..really. They always do the "crowd is clapping to rally a guy out of sleeper" sound when the crowd is clearly giving the match blank stares. Are you serious? Just because the first few rows on the camera side aren't going apeshit in the HUGE arenas Smackdown! takes place in, doesn't mean people aren't clapping. Watch Raw, which is live, or a PPV. There are times when the front is just watching and their are energetic chants being heard throught the arena. TNA can't pull this off because they are taping the event in a SMALL TV STUDIO. It's not believable for such a large amount of people to just be sitting there, whereas for the WWE it is.

I personally couldn't care less about the canned noise or editing, it doesn't take anything away from the show. Must we over criticize even the smallest details? This is not a small detail it's a HUGE problem. The show sucks because of it's whole presentation. They have the resources to make it a good show, they have 3 days to edit a presentable show, they have another 12 days to edit the next show. Glaring examples of botched camera work and crappy editing give the show an overall busch-league feeling. The announcing also really takes way from it as it adds to the hectic atmosphere, i guess for a company calling itself Total Nonstop Action it fits...but it's just comes off at times like Don West says the secret word and everything goes crazy like in Pee Wee

I don't care about the piped in noise, but the jump editing during TNA is nauseating at times.
Like when Kurt had Sting in a chinlock this past week, and in the span of less than five seconds we saw it from three different camera angles.

One example of bad editing in TNA...
Andrew "The Punisher" Martin's debut. That was a mess of quick cuts and horrible botch edits.
I wonder if the people in control of editing have other responsibilities that cause them to not be able to give that aspect all of their time. That's just me though.

I actually agree completely on the editing of the show. I dont know why i started to notice it when before i never seemed to.
