Scot Hall missed the Turning Point because he was depressed over his family situation, particularly that he doesn't get to see his children enough or at all. He openly complained that money didn't matter if he couldn't see his kids. No one talked to Hall after he left the food poisoning message. Kevin Nash was last in communication with Hall late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. The tentative booking plan had Hall and Nash reuniting as a tag team. However, TNA doesn't have any future plans to use Hall from this point forward.
At the same meeting Senshi was granted his release, Ron Killings also asked and was received his release. Killings is expected to work full-time with AAA starting in February. Senshi is likely to return to Pro Wrestling NOAH, and could receive booking offers from AAA.

I feel sorry for Hall having these personal issues, but at the same time, loads of guys in wrestling have problems, but they still honor their work commitments.

I've taken it too. In any line of work if there's personal problems distracting you to the point you're depressed, I don't want you working. You're a danger to my business and when you're in the field, yourself. However, for a last second call that tried to BS out of it.. that's what I find lame. Had he called a day or two before and say "Look I'm depressed and I think I'm not safe to be in the ring", then I'd give him no grief and actually respect him for that. |

Having personal issues and being depressed are two different things. Being depressed is just as bad as having a disease in many situations. I'm sure it didn't help that everyone was ready for him to fail and no one gave him the chance to let go of his past and cahnge for the better. When he no showed Turning Point everyone accused him of "falling" off the wagon, thats gotta be hard to hear for someone recovering from addiction like that, then to be belittled on national PPV by Samoa Joe why your best friend just stands there. I truly feel for Hall.

I've taken it too. In any line of work if there's personal problems distracting you to the point you're depressed, I don't want you working. That's the problem with depression, you can feel like a million bucks for weeks or days at a time, then everything crashed down on you. Watch Scott Halls latest shoot and you can see how often his mood changes, it's part of depression. |

Being given time off work for clinical depression is totally acceptable. I've had friends who have been allocated leave from work due to it. That's completely reasonable. Skiping work, not giving a reason, totally different story. That's just unprofessional. |

Esp WWE and TNA guys who get paid more than the avg person makes. Find some other job.

Ok, where are his kids exactly? I could swear that I heard something about him having a least some sort of joint custody over them. Impact is only taped about 30 miles from where he lives in Chuluota. Why didn't he have these issues when he was working in Puerto Rico or those dates for JCW?

It makes no differen to my life if a wrestler misses a show. It just seems like a really unprofessional thing to do. |

I don't see why he agreed to sign with TNA in the first place, if this story is true. He knew that by signing with TNA that he would need to appear for a few TV tapings and a PPV at the end of the month. It's not like TNA threw him a curveball at the last minute: "Sorry Scott, but we've just now decided to hold a PPV event this month. Sorry we couldn't warn you of this 4 weeks ago. We had no idea we would have a PPV this month"
I say this as a huge Scott Hall fan too... if he seriously was concerned about seeing his family, he shouldn't have signed with TNA in the first place. I suspect that this is not the full/correct backstage story, since Hall is not that naive about the business he has been a part of for all these years.
