plus wrestling talent ofcourse. Kurt had his friends come to TNA and he is in the main title scene constantly. Some say Samoa Joe is like Bret Hart(1993) right now. What do you guys think?

Funny how Kurt was considered to be like Bret Hart when he was brought in originally as the enforcer in the main event of Bound for Glory.....
Other than Karen, who has Kurt actually brought in?I know guys like Vito and Brock and others have been "in talks" but who has gotten a job since Angle joined?

By bringing his friends into TNA? No. The only person he's brought is his wife.
But basing the whole show around himself? Yeah, I can see why he's like Hogan in that respect. All I ever hear on Impact is the announcers going on about what the Angle family are up to, along with useless skits every week involving them. I know Kurt is their biggest star, but sometimes it's just too much and turns people away.

Sorry, I thought he brought in Matt Morgan. I think it was Jim Cornette who put a word in for Morgan.

Well I say no because Angle hasn't completely make hims opinionents look weak as hell like Hogan did. Angle could have been the major star that draw TNA a lot of money but of couse TNA booking messed that up.

Hogan wouldn't job clean to Jay Lethal But that didn't mean anything for Lethal in the long run. I'd argue Angle only did it to show he could be selfless and put a lesser star over.

Ill also say that lethal has become one of my favourite wrestlers today so i think it did help.

TNA was in a no-win situation.
If they didn't treat Angle like the big deal he is, they'd be accused of treating him like WCW treated Bret Hart.
If they pushed him like they are now, they'd be accused of treating him like Hogan.

If they pushed him like they are now, they'd be accused of treating him like Hogan. well then, seeing as how he hasn't improved a whole lot, ratings wise for them, maybe they should have just avoided it altogether? I mean, why get into a no-win situation? That's just bad business if that really is the case.

He's TNA's biggest marketable star, therefore he's in the spotlight. He's also far greater wrestler than Hogan by far, and he's much better on the stick, too. I guess since Jarrett's gone haters need to hate on something, and so we get "BLARGH! TOO MUCH ANGLE! TOTAL NONSTOP ANGLE!" threads.

If Angle still gets the best pop of the night in twenty years time, then he'll be the new Hogan. In fact, I don't think he's ever managed a pop the size of Hogan's.

I see him more as Triple H. He's always in the spotlight, always holding the title, and always has his screechy wife tagging along.

That interview regarding his desire to watch Karen Angle use Daniel Puder as a toilet makes Angle look like his generation's version of the Iron Sheik. He can become Hulk Hogan if his biggest TNA audience comes from his main event battle against the 3,000 lbs. Brother Ray.
