I havent seen bret hart's book anywhere, not mall bookstores, not even barnes and noble (and they had GENERAL ADNAN's book so its not like they only stock the more popular titles).

Bret's book isn't available in the US yet. I'm not sure when it does come out.

You can always get it from amazon.ca, or if you are going to an upcoming ROH show, they bring boatloads of 'em....

Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down there, skippy. Gen. Adnan has a book? Why am I just learning about this now? I remember reading an interview with him discussing the book and about how he was brought back to Iraq by Saddam Hussein, given a huge house and lots of money, all to promote wrestling in Iraq. One night, Adnan got Andre the Giant to wrestle. Before the match, Adnan was approached by Saddam and given his best wishes for the match. Saddam said, in no uncertain terms, that if Andre got the upperhand that Saddam would take care of it, and then he showed him a gun he had holstered. Adnan immediately changed the finish of the match.

I just ordered it from Amazon.Ca. After shipping it was about $25 dollars, which was probably what I would have paid in a book store too. It came really fast, and I read the entire thing within 3 days. I couldn't put it down.

I actually took a quick drive over the border and picked up my copy when it came out two months back. I can finally read it now that school is over!
