I think the pokemon cartoon sends a terrible ethical message to children, that one only acquires animals to serve a purpose to humans (besides they never seemed to care for those poor creatures, simply crammed them into a tiny golf ball sized thing only letting them out to see them fight tooth and nail against other pokemon, imagine if they'd done this premise with real animals, everyone would be up in arms). I remember catching one episode where the Team Rocket characters acquired a Magikarp (the unloved Special Delivery Jones of the pokemon world) for a ridiculous amount of money. The other members of Team Rocket went mental at him for "wasting money" on a pokemon that was effectively useless and couldn't fight properly, one hopes no disabled kids caught that episode.
That and the drawings were god awful
oh and the film was a massive toy advert (most people I know only went to get a certain pokemon card)
oh and it gave all those Japanese kids epileptic fits or something

I'll pay for that, but I don't care... American Dad. A clone of Family Guy, that was already suspiciously similar to the Simpsons. At least FG guy had a different drawing style and its own "personality" (as much as I don't like it). American Dad is just a predictable mix of the two most popular cartoon families of the last decade. And a poor mix IMO. Well, the problem with American Dad isn't/wasn't a problem with the show itself. If things had gone according to plan, it would've been on its own. Without Family Guy running with it, the similarities wouldn't have been so glaring. Who knew it would get un-cancelled? Of course, if you don't like it, you don't like it. I watched last night's and almost peed laughing at Roger.

Beyblades, at least with HE-MAN/ transformers et al the toys actually make good characters to base a cartoon around. But a cartoon whos whole premise is to sell spinning tops to gullible kids?

Good suggestions so far, guys.
The first induction, hopefully soon, will be a show so far none of you have thought of, but it sort of takes shape from your suggestions.
It's more recent, but damn was it bad.

Hmmm....I was going for whole cartoons but if there are really horrible episodes of certain 'toons, feel free.
Scenes, not too sure about. I'll think about it.

Sonic Underground.
i look at this as the show that could have so easily been the 3rd season to Sonic SATAM (maybe without most of the voice talent, but still). instead, we get a weird spin-off involving Sonic, and two siblings of his, on the search for their mother. mix that, with Crappy music, and the fact that they use instruments as weapons. one positive is Knuckles finally makes an appearance on a Sonic Cartoon. and another is Urkel Reprising his role as Sonic, as well as his Siblings Sonia and Manic, plus the always awesome voice work of Maurice LaMarche. and while i think Gary chalk is a great actor, he just coulden't fill the Robotnik Role that Jim Cummings did so well.
you can find most of the episodes on Youtube.

Where is "King Arthur and the Knights of Justice" on this list? C'mon, the premise is sooo stupid...
The real King Arthur gets held prisoner in a castle somewhere by Morgana le Fey, so Merlin, of all the people he can recruit to help, summons a football team called "The Knights" led by "Arthur King" (ugh), who can somehow communicate perfectly with people from the 6th Century AD despite spending his entire life in the 20th Century US with no prior training in Ye Olde English. Oh yeah, and the Knights all have magical animals they can summon out of their shields for a limited time (I am not making this up, its just a blatant Visionaries rip-off).

Don't you ever, and i mean EVER speak ill of this show again... I loved it so much and would still buy the DVDs if they were available. I'd like to throw in the... EXTREME GHOSTBUSTERS!!! Just so bad on all the levels. The premise is that years after the Ghostbusters had disbanded (due to a lack of supernatural activity), Egon is the only member left at the firehouse to monitor a containment unit. He also teaches a Paranormal Studies class in the local college. When monsters start appearing again, he has to recruit his students as fellow ghostbusters. This would include the one guy in the wheel chair (who was incredibly buff and an athlete), the latino slacker, the "mini-Egon", and the goth chick who seems to have a deeper connection to the ghosts... The show itself turned into nothing more than a "Look at how we fight, but then put aside our differences in race/creed/etc. to defeat the ghosts." while Slimer actively became a part of the group (I seem to recall him mostly being used for gags in the original cartoon)... Really really bad...

Any Looney Tunes cartoon post-1964 after they moved out of the Termite Terrace building. Felt cheap, not very magical, and to be more frank: IT STINKS!
