I don't believe in anything that has little to no evidence. Believing in ghosts and aliens to me is the same as believing in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. Being that I don't believe in God, or any God, I simply couldn't believe in aliens or ghosts either. There is no evidence whatsoever. These are ALL man-made. I know it may be egomaniacal to think that all of this is simply here for us...but to be honest, I believe it is. Our planet just happens to be far enough away and have the right atmosphere for species and life to exist, every other planet simply couldn't support any kind of life. not that i agree with you, but thats also entirely possible. i actually get angry when supposed astronomists always say "yes there is other life, its arrogant to think otherwise", well if there really isnt any direct evidence, how can you say for sure something exists?

Mate, our solar system is situated 25,000 light-years away from the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy. Are you suggesting that another solar system, 25,000 light years in the other direction from the centre of the galaxy, won't be capable of supporting life? I suppose I am. It's possible that outside our solar system there may be life, however, we or they (if they exist) will never know. Within our solar system I don't believe other life exists. The other planets in our solar system are either too hot, too cold, have atmosphere that's too thick, so they cannot support any kind of life, especially not "intelligent" life as aliens are purported to be. Oh, I agree we're alone in our little Solar System, but in the very big scheme of things, I believe there is life in another Solar System, and I think the alien beings - far from being little green men, will be very much like humans, living in populouses, keeping pets etc. I even believe some planets might be in evolution cycles like our own, and somewhere, there is a planet full of dinosaurs as we speak.

I'm rather fascinated with people's stories(unless they're on tv telling them) but I'm almost inclined to say no, because I've never experienced anything odd or paranormal and nothings really been discovered

Bigfoot footage youtube.com/watch?v=6Ij6JL_dMNkThe Freeman Footage is debatable to its authenticity, but it is one of the best three bits of film. The Memorial Day Footage is pretty good too, but they pretty much proved recently that the Patterson Footage simply couldn't have been performed by a man in a costume.

Monster Quest is my favorite show on television right now... even if i think 3/4 of the episodes are BS.

It's not like the rebirth of Animal X where they had the obviously faked Bigfoot photo. Other thing is that since they pretty much showed the mouth opening and closing...does that not debunk the idea of a monkey mask?

The bigfoot/swamp ape episodes are legit.. but the Terror bird, Stalin's Ape Man, Creatures from the Fourth Dimension, Werewolf, and Champ are all a stretch...
I believe in ghosts ever since I was at a friend's house located in Bolivar, New York. She told me priorly that her house was weird and I passed it off as her just playing with me. The whole night I felt as if there were people briskly walking behind me but nobody was there. It was similar to that if you were at a busy restaurant and a waitress was walking back and forth. No one else was there.
When I was leaving I was walking (alone) towards a big glass door. All of the sudden three huge knocks came from the glass door, which I could see through, making the glass ripple. I went outside to check if someone was outside and knocking on a different window and the wind wasj ust making the glass vibrate but nobody was around.
My second experienc was when I stayed in the Colgate Hotel on business. It was the middle of winter and I was bored so I decided to go to bed early. I woke up at about 7 am to the sound of car horns and was really confused. I looked at the window and both windows were pushed open about 2 feet. It made no sense for them to be open because 1) it was winter 2) I was cold and 3) there was no way to be opened from the outside because i was on the 3rd floor and there was no fire escape.

Most definitely. Do I believe we have been visited by beings from a different world? Possibly... Do I believe in Ghosts? With this I'm torn. I don't exactly believe in an afterlife or the soul. (I wouldn't mind it though) There is a lot of, what appears to be, paranormal activity that I can not explain in naturalistic terms. My only vague hypothesis is that if there are multiple dimensions then ghosts are "accidental" merges of dimensions that seep into our realm. Ultimately I believe most everything will be explainable in natural terms. For thousands of years we would apply the supernatural for things we didn't understand and over time we've eroded away the unknown with science and new discoveries, and I believe this trend will continue.

I used to be fascinated with UFO's and the like. The I got into Budd Hopkin's books and that was enough for me to just let it go. My Dad told me before he died, that he used to study photo's of the UFO for the Navy, and that there is definitely something there. I was so ticked he kept that from me and yet found it so cool.
As for spirits, yeah I believe that the soul is eternal, so it's possible for friendly visitors. Not sure if I believe too much in the evil aspect of that at all.

As for ghosts, yes. I totally believe in them, having seen them at my grandmother's house, and just having random little events happening. Like waking up from a horrible, swea-inducing, scream-creating nightmare and breathing very heavily, only to close my eyes and hear someone telling me to calm down and relax. That everything will be fine and just to go back to sleep. It was a voice I've never heard before, nor was anyone in the room. ghosts? sure i believe in them..... have to considering i'm a zombie ghost... but honestly, yes. had something similar happen to me (a few years ago, in the room i'm about to be going to sleeping in.) ill as hell, high fever, blocked nose, dehydrated, major headache etc, woke up about 2am-ish heard a female voice telling me to "go back to sleep you'll be fine in the morning....." i woke up fine the next day and asked my mum if she had gone into my room to check on me, she hadnt..... weird thing is, the voice was one i recognised but couldnt and still cant place.... even weirder is the church where my nana's ashes are buried is 5 minutes walk behind my house (can se it from the window.) or theres this one, new years day a couple of years ago my dad went to the toilet in the early hours (30 mins after i got in drunk as hell.) saw someone stood infront of him as he opened the door, he shut it, appologised for shutting the door, opened it and no one was stood there... wasnt until the next day he asked me what time i got home, and if i had my hair down when i did (it wasnt and i was out cold in the next room.) once again it wasnt my mum.... he remembers it being his. aliens? it's impossible for life in some form to not exist else where.

I don't believe in ghosts or psychic abilities, but I do believe there is some kind of intelligent life somewhere out there.

Life certainly exists somewhere else in the universe, but they're not visiting us. They likely don't even know there is an us, since whatever they're seeing in their telescopes certainly isn't us....
Ghosts....nope, don't exist. That's just people's active imaginations.

Aliens? Sure it's possible, not so much sold on why they would come here, because really are we that important? Didn't think so.
Ghosts? Well don't we have a law that states that energy cannot be destroyed nor recreated and well since I do believe in God it's a hypocrisy for me not to believe in Ghosts.
