ok, so I know this is usually way off topic from what is talking about here, but considering how much I respect your guy's opinoin and look forward to talking about god knows what, I figured i would make this topic. You see im a 22 year old male whos living on his own. Alot of my co workers and friends whom are girls always say how plain my living room looks and how boring it is! I guess im expecting to have alot of stuff on the walls and all looking Martha Stewart and such. I figure being a young bachelor there is NOTHING wrong with how I have my living room set up. So I figured I would ask my fellow wrestlecrappers.. Is my living room Boring this picture is from my computer desk which is located behind my sofa this picture is behind the sofa but moving left little more left entrance to the kitchen directly behind the sofa, where my ass is sitting right now just to the right of the tv and finally a shot of my tv and surrond setup Ok so I really dont think my living room is THAT bad....Im missing my dish receiver right above the xbox but thats because Im about to upgrade to a HDDVR...

Paint it something vibrant, like red, and it'll be a major improvement. I've always hated white paint, just so bland. That, and the furniture isn't the best looking, but that's not the easiest (or cheapest) change to make. Painting is cheap and is an easy way to change the atmosphere of an entire room.
EDIT: Just saw you can't paint. That's a bummer.

Can you paint your walls over your Marine poster?

Frame the posters then. That way it looks less like a dorm room.

haha they are framed... ive had them up for over a year so they are starting to become unframed... but i got the posters thinking it wouldnt make the walls so boring!
Also its funny cause i got them free from the video store and out of all the posters I have, Talladega Nights is the only one ive seen ( Mission Impossible 3, nacho Libre, The Marine, Idiocracy, Click, Pulse and The Omen)

Can you paint it red and then go back to white when you eventually leave? Because painting the walls would be a major improvement IMO.

That's a pretty nice space. If you want plain jane, you should see my dorm room.

It's lookin' good, man.
Maybe pull your couch back a bit, though, I find that the further away you are from the TV, the better the picture is.

Looks pretty good to me.
However I'm also a 22 year old male, so maybe I'm just looking at it exactly as you are.

I'm a young guy living on his own as well. One thing that makes my living room plain is that I have no pictures to cover the walls. I don't put posters up because I feel they are best reserved for bedrooms or offices. One thing that would look cool in your living room is a big plant.

I would put more posters of nude women on the wall, but that's just me.

I tried asking about painting them and then before I move out painting them back, but I got a big fat NO... I wanted to paint them a dark red, that would be badass And to the poster who said something about missing a big plant.. haha looks like great minds think alike because I have this is one corner of the living room
