DiBiase is Good is gonna have a good day indeed.
Best Picture: Atonement Best Actor, Drama: Daniel Day Lewis, There Will Be Blood Best Actress, Drama: Julie Christie, Away From Her Best Picture Comedy/Musical: Sweeney Todd Best Screenplay: No Country for Old Men Best Actor Musical/Comedy: Johnny Depp, Sweeney Todd Best Director: Julian Schnabel, Diving Bell and the Butterfly! Best Supporting Actress: Cate Blanchett, I’m Not There Best Supporting Actor: Javier Bardem, No Country for Old Men Best Actress - Musical Comedy: Marion Cotillard, La Vie En Rose Animated Film: Ratatouille Best Song: Guaranteed Best Score: Atonement Best Foreign Film: The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Not as much of an Oscar prognostication as some wish the Globes to be, but it still matters critically on the road to the Oscars.

They did a freakin 2 hour pre show talking to everyone. I really wanted Nbc to be unprepared, dismayed and a general clusterf***. Perhaps they got shit ratings anyway. Of course the actors deserve recognition for their work, but that's their party, it's none of my concern "who they were wearing".

Well, last night was a disaster. How much of a disaster?
AwardsDaily, the folks who breath that Oscar stuff like you guys do with Wrestling....called it the biggest Oscar-related disaster since the infamous Rob Lowe/Snow White incident.
Ouch.
BTW, anyone heard the report that as little as 10% of the Globes voting body even bothered to cast a ballot this year.

Well, David Duchovny said he spent the night at the cinema, leaving his mobile phone home. He figured if it had been called when he got back, he won, otherwise, "no one calls a loser". These awards seem real important

The only reason people would dream of getting a Golden Globe is because they know because of it, they might be getting a golden naked man with a sword sitting right next to it very soon. And rra...9,000 posts strong! WOOOO! ;D

Woo-hoo! Atonement for the win!
I realise that the Globes aren't that special, but this will at least guarantee the profile of Atonement will be raised and hopefully it might get a proper release in the US.

Best Picture Comedy/Musical:
Doesn't that seem a weird award to anyone else?
Does that mean The Best Movie That Was A Comedy Musical. Or does it mean The Best Movie That Was Either A Comedy Or A Musical.
Because thats 2 strange genres to put it between.
Hmm
Anyway the world can finally rest now the world rattling event that was the Golden Globes is over.

...and Ratatouille unsurprisingly wins.
Huh. Wonder what happened to all that speculation about Beowulf being a contender for Best Animated Feature awards...

It really was best to have Cate Blanchett win for such a fantastic topic.
