So does anyone have any amusement park events in time that were memorable for all of the wrong reasons?
One day, while on vacation in Kansas City with friends, I decided to spend a day at Worlds Of Fun. The day was going good until I got on a (now dismantled) steel roller coaster called the Orient Express. Of course I was expecting a smooth ride, but what I got instead was a brain-and-spine rattling one that left me with a headache.
As I was leaving the park, I heard sirens and looked behind me. A couple of cars on the coaster had derailed and were left dangling, and there were countless fire trucks having to get the people down.

I got stuck on the Texas Giant.
Granted, it stopped like 10 feet from the exit, but still.

A llama spat in my face when I was 8 years old at the west midlands safari park. So I punched it Conan style. My mother couldnt stop laughing.

The worst thing that happened to me was being stuck on Superman, Ride of Steel at Six Flags for about a half an hour. There was some kind of electrical failure and the cars stopped on the tracks.

Threw up at Kennywood. Just once and it wasnt on a ride. I just got sick. Sickness creeps up on ya.
Middle School years for the Kennywood picnic were interesting times.
It was like a day of middle school came to the amusement park.
Every bully you knew was there and in FULL activity.
Raging Rapids ruined me the next day at school one time.
The water is not clean. So as certain areas were rashed up. It hurt to walk. Thats how bad the rash was I got from the Raging Rapids.

There was this ridce at 6 Flags, I forget the name, but it was a wooden rollercoaster. My friend said it was a really painful ride; she hurt her back on it when she was on it one time. I just thought she was a wuss and did it anyway. She was right. I had bruises all over the area of my ribs and chest. It sucked.

My niece almost broke her hip at our house a few days before we went to the Magic Kingdom. So we pushed her around in a wheelchair all day cuz she was having a hard time walking. Well it was the middle of the summer and pretty crowded. We're going along and this couple cuts us off abruptly and I accidentally hit the woman in the back of the leg with the wheelchair. I tried to stop it but it happened too fast. They both turned back and gave me the dirtiest look. Pretty much made me pissed off for the rest of the day.
A few years later I had to go to Epcot with her again, this time with my brother and his wife. Well my brother always had a tendency to get into arguments with his wife and of course this day was no different. So it was just a miserable experience all around. Went on Mission: Space before we left and had a pounding headache the whole way home ontop of everything.

(tr)Action park (google it) in Vernon, NJ. Begining to end, you felt like you were in a war after riding some of the rides at that place. Didn't help that they sold beer at a waterpark.

I give you the last moments of my camera. You ruined my childhood by making me fear the ocean, now you ruin my camera. Jaws comes out of the water and rears back like a snake at one point. That was in front of the tour cart I was on. Splashed my camera with water. Still I was so thrilled, I really can't call it a bad experience.

I went to a theme park that looked like it was run by evil carnies. Or course my hunch was right because halfway through the day they started to turn into the undead. If you want to see something creepy, see a bunch of undead carnies running around trying to kill us all.
We had to behead a bunch of them mothers, let me tell you ...
Oh wait, it may be time to take my medication. They say my memory gets fuzzy if I don't take my medicine ... ;D

I worked 9 summers at a theme park so I've had my fair share of bad experiences, mostly from not so nice customers

I live about 15 minutes away from the Jackson NJ Six Flags. They used to have a wooden roller coaster (don't know if it's still there or not) but was the name Rolling Thunder? If I remember correctly, I saw a six flags brochure years ago and Rolling Thunder was painted all white I think.

I lost my glasses on the water flume at Hershey Park in '99. That's always a big fear of mine. I'm usually good about bringing my spare pair and leaving them in the car. Otherwise, I'm SOL and I don't want to have to depend on my husband to guide me around for the rest of the trip, you know?! As for me, I've been unlucky when it comes to the people I go with. When I went to Six Flags Worlds of Adventure, one of the girls I went with threatened suicide in the parking lot. This was right when we got there and the other 8 of us were all excited and she just busted out with that. Thankfully her husband handled that one. Then, when we went to Cedar Point, this friend of a friend just invited himself along. We knew he was a hardcore drug addict and a few of us requested that he not bring his dope on the trip. The whole time there he kept saying really loudly "Oh man, I'm going through withdrawls, I just wanna go light up a joint". My husband and I ditched him and the group and just kinda hung out on our own. When it was just the husband and I at Michigan Adventure, there was no drama or problems. We've vowed to either go by ourselves or with our friends from church (they've all been really cool when we've gone out so far) the next time we go to an amusement park.

I actually went back there for the first time in years this past summer, it's a lot more fun than I remember. My bad experience was getting sick on one of those educational ocean rides at Epcot (I think). I was like 9 and I got a horrible stomach ache and went to the medical room, slept for an hour, and was fine and finished my day at Disney.

Adventure Island. 4 or 5th trip.
The middle slide on the Water Moccasin.
Worst choice I made at a water park.
It wasnt even like I was sliding. It was like I dropped and hit my back.
Hurt something awful.

At Universal one of the log flumes broke down and left us near some sprinkling water for about a half hour. On the same day the spiderman ride also broke down on us.

When I was like 7 I was at Magic Mountain.I was riding some kind of kiddy coaster, and the jerk operating it said he wouldn't move it unless we put our hands above our heads. So I did it(against my will I might add) and he got it going up to speed, then stopped it really hard. I smacked my mouth on the bar and knocked my tooth out. my lip was fat and I was a bloody god damn mess. My prize was a trip to the med facility and a rubber bugs bunny.
