I went to one a town over from mine last night and snagged WrestleMania 2000 and THPS for my N64 for $3 each (I got No Mercy and THPS 2 and 3 already) and Morrowind for my X-Box for $5. I was a bit miffed, as when the woman got the games out of a drawer, I saw the box for Mario Party 2. I asked her about it but she said someone had rented and never returned it.
Oh, and I also snagged The Garbage Picking, Field Goal Kicking Philadelphia Phenomenon starring Tony Danza for $3 as well. I'd heard about it after watching Invincible.
Sadly, all the SNES games were sports... and besides MLBPA which my dad has, I'm not really interested in any.
Oh, and my dad proceeded to buy up every racing and flying game they had for the 64 as he has no idea what games are good or not and they're all he plays.

It was the first two tapes of the Green with Evil mini series of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. ^_^. But it was worth the $2.00. Now I need to find to place that have remaining 3 tapes now. xD

The video store up the Street from where I live was selling off it's VHS tapes some time ago.
I picked up:
WrestleMania 8, 10 & 12.
Summerslam 92
WCW Uncensored 2000
Dick Tracy.
The Rocketeer.
Indiana Jones and the temple of Doom.
Young Indiana Jones Adventures.
And just recently I found a copy of Blade Runner from 1983 at my local Pawn shop.
It really shows when you watch it how beautiful looking the Final cut is.

It's depressing when an old store sells out, but I buy the hell outta the old movies.

Although I havent been to one of those sales in years, I got one of the original copies of Survivor Series 97 at that sale. I never knew about the Screwjob until I saw it. (This was in 1999)

... I saw the box for Mario Party 2. I asked her about it but she said someone had rented and never returned it. Ughhh Par for the course. Like in the other thread about Overdue Fees, this thread is already giving me a headache, as I see this happen way to much and I hate it. I hate going through inventory and pulling off so many stolen boxes. It pisses me off to no end. People have no problem stealing crap and saying "It's only a movie" or "It's only a game" not thinking about the fact they are effecting peoples lively hoods and other customers.

Even the chains that do "require" it have a loop around way of joining a lot of times. There's an inherit flaw in that as well. Said credit card can be maxed out, or used to gain membership then cancled imediatly. People will do it to. Don't think they won't.

Last year I picked up a copy of WWF No Mercy for $20 (Aus), probably the best $20 I have ever spent.
And Deadpool, I agree. I hate it when videos/games get stolen from video stores. Like recntly my local video store had an original copy of Wrestlemania 17 on DVD that I always hired out. And then a couple of weeks ago I went to go hire it out again and it wasn't there. I went to the conuter and asked where it was and the person behind the counter said "Yeah, someones stolen it. Sorry." It bummed me out, knowing my favourite Wrestlemania is out there. Not being watched by me.

How'd you guys get good movies? I ended up with frickin' The Great American Bash '99 Lmao, that was actually one of my first e-bay purchases. It was going for such a dirt cheap price, I couldn't pass it up. I felt good when I got the tape because there was a church business card in there and a note that explained the tape was donated and all proceeds from the tape and the handling were going to help the church. Most of my massive wrestling collection's VHS tapes are from stores that went out of business. At one I bought over 20 old school Colliseum and WCW tapes. Another store I used to frequent, I managed to get a good chunk of the '98/early '99 WWF PPVs. Sadly, this place had no wrestling tapes, so I imagine someone beat me to it if they had wrestling video games. When I bought over 20 tapes at that one store, I just started grabbing crap after some old lady beat me to 'Mania VII. (I did snag 2-V and a bunch of other gems like the first Colliseum release, Rowdy Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits and some '92 WCW) Oh, and as for Survivor Series '97. I rented it at the local general store. When he started selling tapes I went in and asked him about it and he checked the back and said it must've been sold. He did find me Sur Series '90, though, which was a better find than the WrestleFest '92 and 'Mania IX I had picked up off the shelf. Plus like two weeks later he gave me the WrestleMania video game video for free since he had sold the game already and the whoever bought it apparently didn't want the tape.
