I know the worst thing to yell in a theater.
"FIRE!"

I know the worst thing to yell in a theater. "FIRE!" Ah, but are you man enough to yell "Movie" in a crowded firehouse?

Not so much what was said, but when I went to see Toy Story 2 with a bunch of friends with their kids, there was a guy escorted from the theatre by the police...
for "enjoying himself too much" I think is the least offensive way of phrasing it....
in Toy Story 2....
That ranks among the worst things in movie theatres.

A couple of years ago when I went to see The Punisher, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the movie. We all had to go outside and wait until the FD came before we could go back in and finish. There was no fire. Damn kids.

I know the worst thing to yell in a theater. "FIRE!" You just made me laugh into a coughing fit (damn this cold.) Whenever I visit my dad, we love to go to the movies, but I'm always nevous when I go with him, because he likes to talk during the movies. Now, he doesn't yell or anything, but he does kind of like to just make audible comments about movies. He's not as horrible as some of the other people, just kinda annoying at some places.

Ever go to an early afternoon showing with some friends because you/they have to work that night, or go with a girl to be alone for awhile? Ever notice that one guy who is there alone, always sitting in the middle row, and usually bald? It's always your group and him, never anyone else. He never seems to move, or react, or ... act human? Somehow he ALWAYS fits that description. Dude, that's me. Well except I'm not bald and I sit on the side, not in the middle. But matinees are the best time to go. It's cheaper and there's not as many people there. The last time I saw a movie at night was for the midnight showing of Episode III, and before that it was for the midnight showing of Episode I. The only time I haven't minded someone talking in the theatre after the previews start, is when I saw Blair Witch Project. There was a part where Heather came out from behind a tree, and some lady in the audience yelled out "Holy shit!". That got a huge laugh in the theatre, and was the best thing about the movie, that and the Stir of Echoes trailer.

and how could I forget the cellphones ? Now it' s not really "calling out," but it' s annoying as hell. First, I don' t know how it is in the U.S. but in France, before EVERY movie, not matter what kind of movie it is, there' s a message asking people to turn their cellphones off, so why do some dumbasses feel the need to keep theirs on ?? There' s always at least two people per room who do that (but often, there' s more of them). And of course, they MUST check it every 10 minutes for some random reason, creating a wave of blue light in the room (I also blame the corporations that make these phones. Why the f' do they make the phones create such a bright light ??). With a bit of luck, the phones will ring in the middle of the movie (hey mate, ever heard of "vibration mode" or even better, "mute mode" ?). And what is even more awesome is when the asshole actually ANSWERS the call. In the middle of the movie. I swear I' ve seen it. Fortunately, it hasn' t happened in a while (it' s also been forever since I' ve been at the theater, I must say), but I feel that next time it happens, I' ll snap. In New York I've seen up to 3 turn off your cellphone ad's shown before showing the previews, and then right before they play the feature presentation they usually play another quick one mixed in with the rules of the theater... and people STILL leave their damn phones on.

Bah! Cell Phones. They say they have them on just in case it's an emergency. Well put it on Vibrate then and leave the cinema before you answer it. Is it that f***ing hard?

I went to see a movie one time starring Katherine Zeta Jones and Abigail Breslin. Well these two elderly ladies talked through te entire movie. And they were older, so they were kind of hard of hearing. Pretty much, they played "what movie was that guy/girl in?" or, "there's too much sexy stuff in this movie" (it was one of those chick flicks).
Also, during Cloverfield just last week, some high school kid kept texting someone on his blackberry the whole time, another guy next to my girlfriend didn't receive a call, but HE CALLED OUT during the movie and talked for several minutes. (Pausing every once in awhile to shout "What? I can't hear! The damn movie's too loud!" (uh, its called a movie).
I haven't been to a movie in the past six months where there wasn't at least one inconsiderate person.

I hate when people laugh for too long after a joke. And then comment loudly. I want to hear the next 5 lines of text not constant laughs and comments.

Also, I went to see the Orphanage (which, for those of you who don't know, is in spanish with subtitles) there were numerous complaints from the people there. I guess they couldn't keep up with the subtitles or something. But here's my thing, they warn you at the door about the language and whatnot, so why waste your money just to complain loudly?

Me and my friend were becoming impatient when these group of annoying teens kept yelling stuff out during Spiderman 3. So my crazy friend throws his entire bag of popcorn at them. After the movies, he ended up getting into a brawl with them. Predict how that came out. LOL.
