Predicted Results (aka not my pics)
Best Picture: No Country for Old Men Best Director: Joel and Ethan Coen, No Country for Old Men Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis, There Will Be Blood Best Actress: Juile Christie, All of Me Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Javier Bardem, No Country for Old Men Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Cate Blanchett, I'm Not There Best Screenplay, original material: Diablo Cody, Juno Best Screenplay, based on perviously writen materal: Paul Thomas Anderson There Will Be Blood Best Animated Film: Ratatouille Best Cinematography: Roger Deakins, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford Best Editing: Roderick Jaymes, No Country for Old Men Best Original Score: Dario Marianelli, Atonement
I don't really know about makeup and costume to decide on them. I hope that Falling Slowly from Once wins best song but I'll probably be a song from Enchanted. I picked PT Anderson for screenplay because I think that there is some chance that the voters wil give it to him since he won't win as director and TWBB was very criticly appladed.

I can't really make predictions yet because I've only seen 2 of the 5 nominees for Best Picture, No Country for Old Men and Atonement (and IMO Atonement is better). But I'm seeing Juno this week and Michael Clayton is out on DVD next week so then I'll decide which is my fave. But although I haven't seen it yet, I'd bet my house on Daniel Day-Lewis for Best Actor.

I believe Julie Christie is in Away From Her, not All Of Me. And while Cate Blanchett was amazing in I'm Not There, she already won a statuette 4 years ago in what many called her breakthrough performance.

I think This year is one of the worst Oscar lists, out of the ones i've seen only "Atonement" stands out for me.
"Country" & "Juno" are just average movies to me (Good but that's as far as i'll go). But i would give the Killer guy in "Country" the Oscar because he was great.
"Blood" & "Clayton" I've yet to see, but if both flicks are great then i'll change my mind about the list.
