So Im setting up a G-Mail account for some reason and got to the password and it got me thinking. Do yall here at the crap think anyone could realistically guess it? Mine? Never, I mean for real they could learn about me and type for years and I dont think they would get it. Just random stuff no one would guess that makes sense.
How safe do you think your passes has/have been? Any really crappy ones or real good ones that no one ever would get IYO...

I think its better just to assume that someone can, and therefore I limit my traffic via email to stuff that isn't sensitive.
Hell, it wouldn't be the first time a password to an email account of mine was hacked. Haven't had problems in several years, and Gmail seems to be pretty tight, but I don't think it's worth it.

One of the keys is to avoid using the same password for everything. I have at least 4-5 passwords going at once, and they are virtually unguessable. I never use normal words.

Someone got their hands on my WC password once, and not only does no one in real life know I post here, but the password was a complex number that hasn't been attached to me for at least five years.

I'm surprised that people just don't use Rick Roll as a password ...

I keep mine stored in an encrypted Database, and ones I remember are in Latin.

the chances of someone actually guessing a password by brute force are basically none, unless its something really obvious, the bigger issue is, as someone else mentioned, that you somehow inadvertently reveal your password to someone either through phishing or getting keylogged.
If you think a site might be a fake to phish for your info just type in a bunch of random stuff and see if the site accepts it or not, and if you think you might have been keylogged change all your important passwords using a different computer, and scan your computer with whatever virus software you have

I usually stick to one password, but I'll change a few of them every once in a while to be safe.

I thought someone might have logged in under my account about a week ago. I logged out of this account to post some e-fed stuff & I noticed that Fat Chick Thriller MaxxAwesome was still online. I just chalked it up to coincidence. If someone DID hack my password, they never did anyhting using my account... And one of my passwords for one of my systems at work is "WEAKSAUCE"!

And change the combination on my luggage! The password for one of the restricted doors at my work is 1,2,3,4. Every time I enter it, I think of SpaceBalls
