Met Kurt Angle briefly at a Tower Records signing. Seemed very tired and the staff was hurrying everyone through the line.
Met Jericho at a book signing last month. Very, very cool guy. I said "Chris, I thought you won that hair match against Kevin Nash." He said "Didn't I?" Then I pointed to his short hair and said he's a rock star and should have kept his long golden locks. He said that Bruce Dickinson and James Hettfield had short hair now and still rocked. Dickinson I agred with but not so with Hettfield, so I said if Cliff was still around, Metallica would've never cut their hair. He said if Cliff was still alive he'd be the leader of a wild southern rock band. He shook my hand and posed for a photo with me.

Let's see...
Jim Duggan...prick
Brutus Beefcake...really nice guy. I can't say anything bad about him.
Samoa Joe...didn't do much other then get a pic with him, but he didn't charge me.
A.J. Styles...I didn't even recognize him when I saw him.
Larry Zbyszko...Second nicest guy ever. He'd spend about 5 minutes talking to everyone, no matter how long his autograph line was. He still hates Jericho and thinks Vince should book the two against each other.
ECW's hat guy...He's now a manager on the Indy circuit. Down to earth.
Tom Brandi...This was 1994 or 1995 before he became Sal Sincere. I only know I met him because I have a pic with him.
Lilian Garcia...At Survivor Series 2006. After Batista won the belt, I was ran up against the guard rail. After waiting for Lilian to finish writing whatever she was writing in her book, I asked her for her autograph, but unfortunately she put her pen away already. She did shake my hand though.
Um...I guess I could include Cindy Rogers. She had at least one match in Shimmer, but I know her best for wrestling nearby twice. That and the fact that her opponent in the second match split her pants 2 minutes in...

Jeff Hardy - Higher than a jet airliner but really cool
New Jack - At a USAPRO show was signing autograph and I shouted out Vic Grimes is a punk and got him to laugh...really cool with the fans
Dr. Tom Prichard - A-hole even though me and my friends were the only ones that recognized him he gave us nothing
Balls Mahoney - USAPRO show was in a hurry but still posed for a quick photo with me and my friend, seemed very cool
Chris Candido - about a year before he died at a USAPRO show, vefry personable as we talked for a good 2-3 minutes...for the rest of theshow whenever something boring was going on the crowd got a Chris Candido chant going...a true class act
D'lo Brown - Caught him while he was waiting for an elevator about a month after his release from WWE, very nice shook me and my friends hand and got a laugh when we told him we were still down wit the brown....very nice guy

I met everyone on the current roster at the time of Wrestlemania 19, so I'll just get into a few highlights. Keep in mind when I say we saw somebody around the hotel that I was staying in the same one as the wrestlers.
Undertaker: six of us ran into him coming out of the hotel bar. Taker was pretty hammered. A midget tried to sneak back into the crowd for a second autograph and UT looked like he wanted to chokeslam the guy.
Brock Lesnar: really nice the first couple times we saw him. Saw him coming back to the hotel another night and was told by his friend "Don't crowd the plowed."
The Rock: Somebody pulled the fire alarm and The Rock ended up trapped outside with the crowd. Was very picky about what he would sign: no toys, no Scorpion King stuff. Otherwise was just as charismatic in person as on TV.
John Cena: amazingly engaging to everyone. Got into a rhyming contest with a fan at one point and tore the guy to shreds, mostly about the guy's HHH shirt. My friends and I got photos with him, all of us doing the Can't See Me hand pose. One of my friends got the bonus of having Funaki doing it in the photo too.
Hulk Hogan: Was in a hurry leaving for the airport so only signed for a half hour straight, making Brooke, Nick, and Linda sit in the limo.
Big Show: Ran into him smoking a cigar on the street. A cigar in his hand looked like a cigarette in mine.
Torrie Wilson: her Playboy came out while they were in town and she had a signing at a Tower Records. I got a phone call while in line asking what I was doing, so when I got to the table I had Torrie talk to my friend Metalhead. He told her he loved her.
HHH: him and Chavo Guerrero were the only two who didn't sign autographs. When we asked if HHH ever signed he said "Yes" and walked off.
Kane: wrote "Smurf U" on a guy's shirt instead of his autograph when the guy interrupted him at a Subway near the hotel. Kane was nice if you let him come to you.
Goldust: this was during the time when he was doing the Tourette's gimmick so he would start twitching in the middle of signing. He asked to see the Torrie Playboy and when he saw it he said "Airbrushed like a mothersmurfer." His skin had a yellow color to it from wearing the makeup.
Booker T: my friends and I got a picture with him with all of us doing the Five Time hand gesture. Booker was always nice to everyone.
A lot of the wrestlers were very nice to the fans during that weekend. The Hardys, Lita, Trish, Stacy Keibler, and RVD were always great. Only a few were a little standoffish: Eddie Guererro, Bubby Ray, A-Train, and Chris Benoit, and yet they all still had some interaction with the fans.
Two more to mention because the stories are entertaining:
Dawn Marie: was my favorite diva at the time. She said she was surprised I recognized her because she looked so ugly in sweatpants. I told her she could never look ugly, which got a smile from her.
Nidia: my friends and I ran into her in the hotel bar. They got a picture with her while I took it for them. While I was taking the pic she slid her hands down and grabbed my two friends' asses.

in person -@ one point I was writing for a local freebie rag and I managed to finangle free tickets and a backstage pass to interview the grapplers.I was lead to the dressing room by Dave Hebner and got to interview Mick Foley,Marc Mero and Ken Shamrock. I also shock hands with Stone Cold.Sadly the piece did not see the light of day- but I did get promo glossies and to thumbwrestle Ken Shamrock( he beat me)
I have met many indie wrestlers- I even hired a grappler to MC a concert I promoted.
and (cheap-plug-link below) I currently co-host a podcast and have interviewed several grapplers- DDP,Baby Doll,The Maestro and "Above Average" Mike Sanders( a very funny individual)

The comment about Hogan only signing for a half hour after saying he had to hurry to the airport is meant to demonstrate just how fan friendly a guy the Hulkster is.

Sid, Sensational Sherri, Buff Bagwell, and Hardbody Harrison (before his criminal troubles). Yeah, I wasn't too excited about meeting Hardbody.
Sherri signed an autograph for a friend of mine, a young girl who absolutely idolized Sherri. It was so sweet. Sherri was in the process of leaving the Omni and several fans tried swarming her for an autograph, but she only would give it to the young girl I went to the show with. I think Sherri could tell that the girl was such a big fan of hers. She hugged the little girl as well.
Sid was very cool. He punched fists with me and was like, "Yeah!" I met him after a Nitro show at the Georgia Dome.

Jeff hardy- hard to believe, but i had a staring contes with him at WMXIX axxess. he won b/c i couldnt keep a staright face since i couldnt believe i was in a staring contest with jeff hardy.
earl Hebner- met him in an airport the day before WM XIX, he was cool, shook my hand and told me to watch raw the day after WM for a big surprise (goldberg debut)
trish stratus- asked her for her phone number. she said no. asked her to give me any seven numbers, even if they werent hers....she said "ummmmm.....no
torrie wilson- told her that her playboy cured many lonely nights. she looked at me like she was disgusted (and rightfully so)
gregory helms- basically justs hook my hand
ivory- talked to her forever. very cool.
rvd- he was in the middle of a huge crowd and i pulled his ponytail. he just laughed. i wish i was kidding.
ddp- eh. nothing too notable to write about
stacy kielber- not much. told her she had a nice ass. she smiled.
jequeline- asked her if her favorite wrestler was papa shango. she just laughed at me.

Depends what you mean by "met."
I've met hundreds of them at shows, shook a hand, took a picture, couple of words exchanged, maybe got an autograph in earlier years. Couldn't even name them all, we're talking 22 years worth. Of those, the most note-worthy would probably be one I met away from the arena. Was still working convenience stores when Steve Blackman and someone I didn't recognize walked in. Picked up some stuff (bottled water, advil and chewing gum) and that was that. Said hi and I liked his work and off they went.
Those were all just mostly split-second type stuff, no lasting impression. Of the people I've actually hung out with, sat down for longer than 20 seconds and talked with, or actually know or knew as friends, a decent handful. A good number of the local workers (Joey Corman, Miss Lacey, Mike Paige). LA Steele almost kicked my ass once. Obviously, knew/met all the ones I worked with on the one show I managed on.
Other than that, I'd have to say the one I was most acquainted with was probably Chris Adams.

At signings...
Virgil tried to charge me 25 bucks for an autograph after I said hello, he asked my name and started writing, I said hell no, he gave it to me for free. Decent guy.
I met Shawn Michaels, Sting, Animal, Million Dollar Man, Buff Bagwell, Greg The Hammer Valentine at one of MDM's Christian wrestling shows.
Theres probably something eles I'm forgetting.

This is a predominantley WWE thread, why did it get moved? it's all-inclusive, thus even with more wwe wrestlers being mentioned, it fits better here.

Rey Mysterio Jr.- It was after a WCW house show in Fort Wayne, all of the wrestlers would either go to the strip club, Hooters or IHOP...while I was walkin to Hooters, I saw Rey coming the other way...I said hey, and he said "peace" and touched his heart...seemed very genuine...
Hardcore Hak(Sandman)-Drunk off his ass in Hooters, he broke the basketball goal they had in there...he stumbeled by our table and said "How the smurf are you fellas doing?" we said great and he yelled...he was pretty funny, flirting with the girls and everything...
Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall- After a Nitro/Thunder taping we headed to IHOP and a little while after we sat down, the three of them came in...needless to say, the 14 yr old mark in me went nuts...We said great show to them all and they said thanks a lot for the support and shook all of our hands....they all seemed drained but friendly...I also met Hall at Bound For Glory this year, he was buying a beer well before the show...the street team people got to come down to the arena floor early and he was walking around...
Vince Russo- He spent most of this years Bound For Glory taking notes behind out section...I got up to go to the bathroom once and ended up bumping into him and we shook hands...he was of course busy, but friendly about it...
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley- The friend that I went to BFG with use to book for Savio Vega's company in Peurto Rico and is good friends with Hernandez...we waited outside for him and before he came out, Sabin and Shelley walked out...they stopped and talked to us for like ten minutes while we waited on Hernandez to come out...but the bastard took too long so we all parted ways...my love for the Machine Guns went through the roof of course...both of them are funny as hell and love what they do...
David Young- I just recently met him at a GCW show, again my friend knew him from back in Puerto Rico...he was pretty nice, and talked to us while some lady gave him a massage...in fact, that was a little creepy...
