- Scott Hall was booked to lose the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship on the weekend of 12/14 to Biggie Size, a wrestler similar to TNA's Hernandez. Hall felt it was too early to drop the title to Size, so he asked Hector Melendez if the match could be switched to a non-title street fight. Due to his friendship with Kevin Nash, officials thought Hall may be playing games and told him it was time to drop the belt immediately. Hall ended up staying in his hotel room and no-showing the event.
Hall told WWC officials he was running late but would be there, and of course he never showed. The title was forfeited by Hall and Biggie Size won it in a match on 12/15. Hall was the WWC Universal Heavyweight Champion for around 6 months.

Funny. I'm reading a story right now about how WWC ruined a major angle for another fed(IWA) because they couldn't keep the guy.

As a Brody fan all I can say is that screwing WWC is a good thing and that company deserves a lot worse than what Hall did.

yeah i remember hearing about this but not the part about leading them on until the last minute and then no showing, if thats true then he really has burned his bridges with just about every promotion hes worked for so it doesnt look good for my hopes to see hall wrestling anywhere anytime soon, unless he goes back to japan

Screw over legit promotions (OK Biggie Size is pushing it) and but always show up for the pure garbage of wrestling.

To plays Devils Advocate here, I remember hearing after the TNA mishap that Hall is suffering from severe depression right now and I can tell you that depression makes people do strange things. It doesn't make it right, but I can understand what he's going through. I've seen people make some pretty questionable decisions when depressed.
