An industry that prides itself on entertaining the fans yet it's dvd's seem to lack on the whole in regard to extra's and bonus stuff.
Whether it be a PPV or a profile on a wrestler I sometimes think they could do a lot more with them.
So with that in mind what would you like to see in wrestling dvds?
- I'd like to see some sort of director/wrestler commentary for the older ppvs. Be it in or out of kayfabe it could be great. Especially if they were to use the small box thing they did on the old shows. Who wouldn't want to hear the thought processes of say Pat Patterson as you rewatch the first Royal Rumble, perhaps have Eric Bishoff comment on one of the major WCW ppvs or have a fully in character heel give a commentary for a ppv.

It would have been nice to see Sgt. Slaughter interviewed for the AWA set, considering that he was there for so damn long.
The World Class dvd should have had better matches and at least another disc to showcase those matches. Same for the AWA set. If you're going to do a set on a promotion, give it room to breath. Or at least release a companion set with three to four discs of nothing but matches.

How about actual surround sound on ROH DVD's? I wish that I could hear the crowd behind me, and the commentary on the front 3 speakers. That would just about make my day...

I'd like to see PPV Documentaries. You know, like WrestleMania All Day Long. Guys come in and talk about the event, their memories, funny stories, some quick hilights and shit like that.

Do they still do the "pop-up video" facts on the CHIKARA DVDs? Id like to see that more often, especially on the WWE's 'historical' shows, like the WCCW and ECW discs.
Another thing I'd like (on ALL DVDs, not just wrestling) is the commentary track seperately available in subtitles, so that I could watch the orignal sound and read any commentary.

What sucked about the WWE World Class dvd is that Kevin and Retodd did commentary for the two shortest of the bonus matches.
I haven't heard it, but didn't JBL do drunken commentary for one of the One Night Stand ppvs?
A commentary track by the superstar the dvd is based on during their documentary would be fabulous, as someone comes on screen we could get their thoughts on them and the stuff shown during the show.
I mark for commentary and want everything to have it, wrestling docs, matches, life, commentary on the commentary...everything.

I haven't heard it, but didn't JBL do drunken commentary for one of the One Night Stand ppvs? It was the first ONS, and it was really bad. So bad I couldn't even listen to the whole thing.
