In the "Latest picture of Randy Savage" thread. Someone mentioned the lack of Fannypacks in modern wrestling today. So this thread is dedicated to all the great Fannypacks wrestlers have worn in the past. And to answer your question. yes, this is probably the stupidest thing you'll ever see. here we go.

This threas is useless without Luther Reigns.
I remember him wearing a fanny pack at a (I FORGOT THE NAME OF THE PROMOTION) show and the fans were chanting: "Faanny Pack, Faanny Pack, Faanny Pack,...". Luther then said something like: "Yeah! I wear a fanny pack, but I also wear this 2000$ watch!..." later that evening he suckerpunched a fan with a camera...

Fanny Packs aren't quite gone in wrestling- Icarus of course has his Fanny-Pack splash.
But yeah, fanny is totally different over here. I often have a laugh at that American terminology.

Nothing says late 80's/early 90's wrestling like fanny packs and Zubaz pants.

On a side note, I think I'm going to run a Legends show on FPW and call it the Fanny Pack Memorial.

Watch Rescue 911 and you can see Zubaz, fanny packs, and mullets in all their glory. Or head on down to the local flea market. It's always 1993 over there.
