A month or so ago, this board was up in arms about the quite lame Spider-Man saga "One More Day". The story dropped one of the biggest eggs in recent comics memory with its "Hey, magic and dealing with devils will solve EVERYTHING!!" premise. It led to the ritual "I'll never read Spidey again BLARRGGHH!" reaction from many a fanboy.
Now, we're several issues into the "Brand New Day" reboot, and I must say...I'm really digging it. Just nice, crisp superhero comics. Nothing fancy or high-faluting, just good clean fun. I'm interested in the new characters and directions, the dialogue is crisp and funny and while they could have done it in a MUCH better way, I'm really a fan of the characterization of Peter Parker they've returned to.
Anyone else have thoughts on this story thus far?

I've liked BND as well but I feel it could have been done without the disaster of OMD. The reason BND has been so good in my opinion is the influx of new characters/villains and Peter not being all emo.
I'm also excited for Peter's new job as revealed in the recent solicits........paparazzi!
