Okay, I'll go ahead and admit that Resident Evil 2 was my favorite game in the series and one of my favorite of all time on any of the systems...but I saw a copy of it at Gamestop on Gamecube for 40 dollars? Would anyone really shill out that much money for a game that is that old? Surely you can find it on the internet for less...can't you?

www.geeksetconline.comMy store. [/shilling] We guarantee to beat Gamestop. If we had RE2 for the Cube, it'd be 24 bucks. Of course, we can't always beat Amazon or the like, but as a store, we guarantee to beat Gamestop, Hasting's, EB Games, Software Etc, Rhino Games, Gamecrazy, and the others. I win.

Awesome store Mauler...definitely gonna check it out.
But yeah, RE2 generally goes for a whole lot on the GCN due to its rarity. Sad but true. It's like the Suikoden PSX games.

Resident Evil 2 and 3, and maybe even Code Veronica: X, despite being nothing but direct ports with a SLIGHT graphical upgrade cost so much because they are RARE games.

Also, rarity is the reason why for example, a SNES on Mueler's site cost $70, while a GameCube costs $50.

The only reason you beat GameStop on that pricing is I don't even think they carry it any more. Last time I checked it was $5 if you could find it at a GameStop. Though...I may or may not buy a NES or SNES from youse.

Old Hat is high dollar. (though there are peculiar irregularities) I was happy to get the often no sold Crono Cross the other day for six dollars. It's not legendary, but it's worth every bit of six dollars. But then no one cares about it. They do, however, care about RE 2. (which I own and purchased at a reasonable price )

I love Amazon because they have great prices, especially from third party sources plus the flat rate shipping and handling so you don't get "ebayed".

The NES should also be $69. Comes with one controller, one Zapper, all the cords and cables, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, and a six month guarantee. We refurbish the systems in house so you don't get a 'flasher'. I've got some errors to work out on the page tomorrow, so gimme some time. We guarantee everything we stand behind, unless the 'as is' policy from a lot of other places. Plus, if you ever have problems, you can talk to the one and only Fetus Mauler and we'll fix it. I'm even thinking about trying to get a Wrestlecrap bonus sale going for everyone here. We'll just see how it goes.

I bet to differ. It is quite legendary, at least to me.

I was at the locally owned gamestore I frequent (only place around that carries any games from the last gens...yeah, gamestop and EB games pretty much have Kansas City on lockdown) and they had Valkarye Profile on the PSX for $120. I told the clerk he was nuts for marking it that high (me and him know each other quite well...theres been times I have sat in there for hours discussing old games) and he said "You go on E-bay when you get home tonight and look up what it goes for, then you come back and tell me I am selling it too high."
And to answer a question floating around, he had Code Veronica X for $20. He uses a magazine of some sort for his prices that he gets an update on every 3 months.
He also sells games from about every era and every system (even Atari, Sega CD, Colecovision, 3D0, CD-I, Virtual Boy, and has a Virtua Fighter 2 arcade cabinet he is selling for $450 (and lets people play on free of charge) or $525 if you want it converted for MAME)
