A few months ago, I was very bored so I went trawling around my friends' friends list to make some new friends. (as you do) I stumbled upon this very nice looking girl's pics and I commented on them to her and she said 'Thanks, etc' Then I added her and I discovered that she's friends with most of my friends. Felt a bit weird as I've never actually met her face-to-face, but I offered to buy her a drink at the local pub one night. She said she couldn't make it as she was working. Haven't contacted her since then though, that was a few weeks ago. Now I can't stop thinking about her, her smile is gorgeous. I know she got hurt by a guy recently so I don't think she wants to date anybody at the moment anyway. Should I ask her out again soon?

I dont know how long ago you last offered her a drink...I'd say a week or two later wouldnt be too soon to ask again. Dont give up though....unless she gives you a legit reason to

Talk her a bit to see where her head is. You also mention she just got out of a long term deal, then just keep tabs on her. Don't charge too quickly because rebounds are always bad unless we're talking about the NBA.

Just sounds like a bit of a temporary infatuation coupled with the fact you just want to sleep with her. You haven't spoken to her for weeks and you can't stop thinking about her?
You can try your luck, I suppose.

I wouldn't worry about it too much if y'all haven't even hung out yet, and weeks have passed.
You could drop her a line to say hello, try and get to know her beyond cute chick on Facebook and go from there.
Either way, don't drive yourself nuts until you have way more to go on than what you've got.
