Just before going on holiday, like literally a few hours before. Still went and tried to make the most of it, but felt pretty rough the whole time. Must've looked ill too as a stripper asked me if I was alright whilst giving me a lapdance. I managed not to barf on her or anything, I guess I woulda been charged more then. I got even worse when I got back and was off work for two weeks and consequently lost my job at the time.

I was in Chicago for No Mercy this past Oct. and found out Saturday night that my friend was not picking up my Sunday morning shift at the Real Estate Office I worked at the time.
Me and this other girl were scheduled, and the office opened at 10:30. I was going to call in and tell the girl I was not coming in.
2 things, however.
1) The girl was not scheduled until noon. I was the opener. 2) There's a time difference between Detroit and Chicago. I called too late and the office was not opened on time.
The best part? On weekends, all three offices get their phones routed to my office. So 3 real estate agencies were closed phones. PEOPLE WERE PISSED...in this shit real estate economy...

Basically every time I've ever had to do anything in my life I get sick to my stomach. I once saw a True Life about about a guy who was OCD, and his thing was that he never did anything because he was afraid of having to go to the bathroom in the middle of it.. This happens to me ALL THE TIME

I was sick on my birthday this year. Also, I wasn't sick, but I messed up my ankle really bad playing basketball, right before I had final exams week. I can honestly say that it is not fun walking across campus on a gimpy ankle and sitting in small desks while taking ISB final exams. Not fun at all.

I was severely constipated on my senior trip to Astro World. Does that count? I still had some fun.
Oh and I got hit by a car two weeks before my 21st birthday. It'll be 4 years tomorrow actually.

I had a hellacious stomach ache the day I went to Epcot.
I had the flu on the day of the 2007 AFC Championship Game. The game's results didn't help.
I had the runs during the third quarter of Super Bowl XXXVI.
...should've left that last one out...

I remember developing one hell of a nasty cold the day of one of my exams last year (I had it for my others, but I was able to deal with it with no problems). But the night it got worse was also the same night I got practically no sleep whatsoever as a result of it.
Exam + Nasty Cold + No Sleep + Having to catch a train + Sitting a 2-Hour Exam = No fun.
By no surprise, my grade sucked, but at least I was given a second chance, and fared much better that time.

Years ago I had to pick up my uncle from the hospital (he had an overnight procedure done), the trouble was that I was parked in front of the white porcelain bus all morning. Seriously, I fell asleep by the toilet because I was puking my guts out way too much.

I've got 3 of 'em:
1) For a social studies class in 11th grade I had to give an presentation of my report on some bullcrap that I forget. Anyway, I woke up with a 103 fever and every other symptom of the flu imaginable. Despite my mom wanting me to go to the hospital, I refuse, citing the fact that my teacher will flunk me if I don't show up. So I sit through 12 crappy presentations, not feeling any better. By the time I got up for mine, I looked like "death warmed over," the teacher's exact words. I gave my stupid presentation and sat down. Despite the fact that I completely forgot 1/2 the assignment (it was 2 parts and I spent all my time on part 1) my teacher gave me an A+. I then proceeded to finish the last 2 classes doing nothing and went home and collapsed.
2) When I was 12 my mom got married to my soon to be former stepfather (this was before he became a selfish bastard but that's neither here nor there). As I arrived at the church and put my tux on I noticed a slight cough. As I walked my mother down the aisle (my grandfather wasn't in the picture by that point) the cough got worse. During the rest of the ceremony you hear me in the front row coughing my head off. Man, was I glad when it was over. It became a bit more tolerable once I got to drink something during the reception.
After my mom and stepdad went off on their honeymoon my brother and I got sicker than dogs and spent the next 3 days coughing and spitting up phlegm.
3) This one hurts me the most. My nephew Moses had just been born in November of 2003. His first Christmas was coming up. I was so excited to spend it with him. I had bought him a lot of nice things and looked forward to spending the day with him and the rest of my family. However, I caught the flu 2 freakin' days before Christmas. Needless to say I didn't go to see him on his first Christmas. I didn't want to get him sick. Of the three this one pisses me off the most. Your godson only has one first Christmas. I didn't get to spend it with him.

Not sick, but last year I got a giant cut between the middle and ring fingers on my right hand. A few days later I attended my sister's High School Graduation. Clapping sure was painful.

It was December of 2003, and my sister went out on a trip to Vegas with her friend . She wasn't going to come back until after New Years, which gave me all this space and freedom to bask in at home. Instead I was sick throughout the entire month and I just spent it all in bed with the flu, watching SNL reruns on Comedy Central. That was a horrible holiday season.
