One of the best games of all time, though I still say even now that Resident Evil 2 is still the best of the series.

You guys' nightmares are my awesome dreams. I love it when I have zombie dreams and all (or dreams like that in general), it doesn't happen often though. Actually, by "nightmare" I mean it was unsettling until I realized it was fake then I took over and had fun with the dream. I'm a lucid dreamer so I can control my dreams once I know it is a dream. I never actually have a real nightmare. Sometimes I do that. Like one time I was dreaming about my house being haunted. I was in my room and heard a crash in the kitchen. I went there, and nothing was wrong, so I got a drink. The TV turned itself on so I went in the living room and turned it off. I went back to the kitchen and it turned on again and I went and turned it off again. This repeated a few more times and eventually I said "screw it" and sat down and watched TV. When I sat down this porcilin doll that was in a rocking chair on the other side of the room started moving and talking about getting my soul. I just stared at it. It then started throwing things at me (like telekenisis) and kept on with the evil sound and threats. I just looked at it and said "Nothing you say means anything... this is a dream." I woke up soon after that and was like "Awesome" to myself. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

What're them regenerating bastards you have to shoot strategically with the thermal vision? The first time you encounter one of those and blow it to hell only to find your efforts were in vain gets the nod for a creepy moment from me. There's a RE standard. If you shoot something, it eventually dies. That broke that. (feel free to correct me if I'm factually wrong RE kids) That's awesome.

Like one time, I was having a dream of me waking up to the girl I currently like in bed next to me in a t-shirt and her panties. I accidentally look at her panties out of male reflex and say sorry, she says it is ok and simply smiles. I just let that go unedited. Interestingly, the following day at school(I sit directly behind her in a class) her shirt and pants weren't cooperating(pants were riding low, shirt was riding high) and low and behold for about 15 minutes or so(may have been more, the time went by fast) I saw her white cotton panties. ;D I love when my dreams come true in a way.

I've always had a problem with the Resident Evil games. Albeit the crappy camera angles, limited freedom of where you can fire and the actual controls were normally awful. So I held off on buying Resident Evil 4 even though the reviews were excellent. And when I saw ScrewAttack list it as the best gamecube game my curiosity peaked. For Valentines my wife bought me a copy for the gamecube. And it is one of the greatest games I've ever played. I've just completed it for the first time and this game took over my life. I was thinking about this game all the time when I wasn't playing it. I seriously haven't been this engrossed in a game since Ocarina of Time took over years ago. Anyone else love this game? RE4 was the best game for the Gamecube, period. If you owned a cube without RE4, you sucked lol, the game was amazing.

This thread needs more appreciation for the 'Mercenaries' game mode. Now that's fun!

This thread needs more appreciation for the 'Mercenaries' game mode. Now that's fun! Except for that 8 foot tall Jason Voorhees wannabee chainsaw guy, who's a pain in the ass.

Resident Evil 4: It should not take six shots to the head at point-blank range to kill anything that's not a massive boss that rips trees out of the ground and beats you with them.

Resident Evil 4: It should not take six shots to the head at point-blank range to kill anything that's not a massive boss that rips trees out of the ground and beats you with them. But what if it's a guy who has a tentacle growing inside his head? Do the same rules apply? Have you ever killed one? Cause I haven't even seen one. Just in the game. It's cool, if you're not NRAing all your ammo you shouldn't have too many dry spells. It does seem like the rules of the collision detection alter slightly in certain situations. ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

An absolutely amazing game. As far as games I've played I'd only rank it below God of War I & II and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
