Now I'm not going to name any boards, sites or people in particular, because I know that it's against the rules.
However, as I was crusing around other wrestling forums, I've noticed a small (not an overwhelming movement, but they're vocal enough) contingency of folks and the odd banned poster who gripes and moans about us being oversensitive. Granted, the previously banned poster likely posted something truly dickish, but they seem to be angry nevertheless. (And there was that video on YouTube that some people may remember, but I'm not linking to it.)
Personally, I love the strictness of this board. It assures smart discussion and filters out people you might not get along with.

I've only ever really been on one other wrestling forum, I wont say which but basically everyone on it was really crude and immature. They had swear words banned but even still. I suppose a lot of it wasn't even offensive, just really stupid. This place though, this place I like.

I love this wrestling board. Let them gripe on their boards.
I left that silly myspace wrestling group and found home here. Myspace had some of the meanest fans.

The rules in place on this board can get annoying and it's a shame they're in effect because some people cannot debate/argue correctly, but overall it works.
Something Awful's 'Weekend Web' features are good examples of how NOT to run forums.

I'm a member of two boards, here and the Chikara fans board, and honestly, I've never even gotten a whiff of any disgruntlement between either of them, really, I guess it's because I'm not in the wider world where some pricks might hide.

The SA people tend to be really rude to newcomers.

Every other message board I post on, from hockey to video games, 99.99999999% of the population are immature, elitist jerks. This board is perfect as is, for the most part. There are certain rules I think are a bit over-kill, but it sure beats the alternative. The entire time I've been here there's only been one thing I really took issue with.

Eh, they can say whatever they want, as long as they don't try and start shit here.
And in all honesty, I'm a mod and we'd prefer if we didn't have to be as strict as we admittedly sometimes are, but I think we can all recognize the maturity level of ANY large group of people would make relaxing the rules and having to deal with the douchebaggery sure to follow outweighs the perceived strictness.

Although I am mentioning a board that I left due to prissiness (both mine and the other members), I would have to say that the folks at the Megadeth forums seem to love this place (at least the ones who are wrestling fans).

I thoroughly enjoy the Crap. Some thoughtful and funny types are represented here. I like the way moderators here recognize an idiot early on, and he is summarily dismissed. This is no place for youtube-style ''user comments", they can foam at the mouth elsewhere. Having said my piece, here is a real babe.

This is, without a doubt, the most intelligent forum I've ever been a part of. Not just wrasslin forums, but all forums in general. I heart my 'Crappers.

I think this place is a little on the strict side. But being on other message boards i've noticed if mods become somewhat lax on the rules they bend, bend, bend some more and sooner or later, too much stuff gets open to interpretation, too many people complain, argue and stuff prety quickly elevates to board anarchy.
This place is pretty inviting for the most part, which is a credit to the mods and members since you usually see a board with this many people discussing so many different topics turn ugly.

This is pretty much the only forum on the internet to me other than Jake's.
Yeah.

I think the mods on this site are amazing. Most of the posters on this site are really good, too. Sure you have some sensitive, or really anal posters on here. And it can be annoying to read those posts. But what board doesn't have that?
Wrestlecrap is a very enjoyable site, and I only wished I came on here earlier. . . Oh boy, came on was a bad choice of words, wasn't it?

I've done forums in the past...and there have been times that I have lashed out...and I just get a constant reminder anytime I post something else not even related to the topic at hand.
But other than my one incident so far...I enjoy the board and a lot of the people on it.

I agree, this is the only board that feels like a community i been on an F1 forum and had about 5 clowns arguing with me that Keke Rosberg drove a Blue Ferrari at a US grand Prix (Rosberg never drove for Ferrari and Ferrari have never been anything but red but would they listen ) and that Schumi started his carreer at Minardi (it was Jordan ) I gave up on em The Star Wars forum I was on.....hmm anything I said was crapped upon (most of what I said was true as well ) here..ok I do feel sometimes my posts and threads get no sold..but i am friends with quite a few of the crappers and this site is the best for Wrestling talk i find it hard talking about wrestling to a non crapper

This has been the only forum I've been a part of for more than a day. Any other time I've tried joining other forums, on pretty much any topic, I've gotten annoyed incredibly quickly with the inane pettiness of people. I think the Mod's here do a good job of keeping things under control here, and the 'Crappers on the board, tho we butt heads now and then, are usually pretty damn respectful to me and my opinion. I love this place!

Other than the fact that we're not allowed to pee in the drinking fountain, this place rules.
