I was just reminicing the other night about some cool old action figures I used to have, and the stuff they could do. I was just wondering what all figures you guys used to have/remember. I'm not really looking for cool looking figures...but if you want to reminice about them, I'd be happy to hear your stories! Here's some of mine:
Batman Movie Action Figure: This figure was made for the first Micheal Keaton/Tim Burton movie. It had a cool cloth cape that you could remove from the figure's neck, and a spring loaded belt that you could pull out and have the figure climb up walls and stuff. He also came with a batarang that attached to the belt, to make sort of a grappling hook. Very cool figure.
Superman: Made by the same company that made the Batman figure above, this guy came with a kryptonite ring. The ring and figure each had a magnet inside of them that repulsed each other instead of attract...so when you held the ring close to Superman (standing up on his own) he'd fall down, "weakened" by the kryptonite. Never seen anything like it since.
Wolverine: I believe this figure came out some time in the early 90's or so. Wolvie was in his classic Brown costume which included a mask you could take off and on the figure. He also had spring loaded claws that could retract into his arms. Pressing them made them shoot out, like the comic character.
The Hulk: Another figure from the 90's, made by the same company that created the Wolverine figure. He came with a pipe and a boulder. If you pulled a little lever on his back, he would "bend" the pipe or "crush" the boulder.
How about y'all? What did you used to have?

I had a bunch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures. Had a bunch of Batman and X-Men figures, and some wrestling figures, including Ultimate Warrior and Piper. I just took a look at my figures. I have:
All sorts of Batman figures, including the Azrael version of Batman, Joker, and Robin.
Tons of TMNT figures, even one in a space suit, as well as every major enemy and ally besides Brain, Bebop, and Rocksteady.
I have Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, Sabertooth, Cyclops, Wolverine, Sauron, and some others I forgot. Oh, and I have one of the dudes from Demolition.

Man when I was a kid I had nearly all of the original Star Wars action figures. Darth Vader, Luke, Obi-One, ya know the 1977 Kenner Classics that some sell on ebay for $100s of dollars. I swear I must have had AT LEAST 100 of them. If I would have only kept them in the package instead of lighting firecrackers tied to them or setting them on fire I would have more money than I have already! LOL
My brother about 2 years ago sold a Boba Fett still on the card for $400 on Ebay. I had f***ing four of them as a kid! Grrrrrr but nobody back then could imagine they would be worth anything.
Also my other favs were the classic GI Joes with the real hair. The Six Million Dollar Man action figures that had bionic parts and whatnot.
But my all time favorite figure was Evel Knevel and of course his stunt cycle.
LOL I miss the 70s.

Also had one of the security jets from Cloud City, the red one.

I miss my Mego super heroes. Those 8 inch figures with the cloth outfits and bodysuits. I had Spider-Man, Batman an Robin, Captain America, Joker, Superman, and the Hulk. My major problem was I kept breaking them, went through several Spider-Mans and Batmans.
One of these days I'm gonna have to get some off eBay.

If you pulled a little lever on his back, he would "bend" the pipe or "crush" the boulder. How about y'all? What did you used to have? I had these except for Wolvie and Supes. Toy Biz made some real cool toys for that era. Hard to believe that they've made both Marvel and DC toys. In the same scale, to boot! The Batman movie line was classic, I had the Joker and the Batmobile and Batcopter (not in the movie, but it was still cool). I loved my Joker figure, great look, removable hat, flower squirted water. Then I dropped him in the kitchen and his head flew off I really want to buy another one someday. Right now I'm collecting all of my favorite superheroes in Minimates form though I loved all of my Ghostbusters toys when I was a kid, I had the role playing ghostbusting weapons (the whole suit pretty much...Proton Pack, Ecto Goggles, Ghost Trap, PKE Meter), I had the firehouse, the Ecto 1-A (ghostbusters 2 version), most of the boys in grey themselves, lots of ghosts, the ecto copter, ecto drag...ster? I don't remember what it was called, looked like a dune buggy. And a sweet VW bug that turned into a big monster. THOSE were some sweet toys. I had a chance to snag some of the Ecto Glow series but I failed to get them Ehm...I had a lot of Gundam figures that were really cool. My toyline that's stayed with me for so long is Gi Joe ARAH, I still have most of my originals, and my favorites were Deep Six and Torpedo because I grew up around water. Also, here's the Bats figures we speak of: cgi.ebay.com/DC-Comics-Super-Heros-The-Joker_W0QQitemZ170204698910QQihZ007QQcategoryZ348QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem my Joker cgi.ebay.com/DC-Comics-Super-Heros-Batman_W0QQitemZ170204696710QQihZ007QQcategoryZ348QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemThe Batman we both had. Pretty damn affordable eh?

Didn't some versions also have a "change colors in water" face so that you could reinact that scene in the movie where Vicky Vale threw water on him and washed off his flesh colored make-up? That might have been a compltely different figure though. I remember for the second movie, they came out with Wayne Manor. That thing was AWESOME...and it's been reproduced several times (for both the animated cartoon series and Batman Begins)

I only played with wrestling figures. Same. I'd have huge Royal Rumbles with them. I think I had pretty much everybody, and for whatever reason, Smash from Demolition was my #2 guy behind Hogan.

The first action figures I remember owning were Star Wars figures. I think I had Darth Vader, Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, Boba Fett, and C-3PO. My brother and I also had a bunch of Masters of the Universe figures as well as all the original Ghostbusters including Ecto-1. I also had one of those Secret Wars Captain America figures and a couple of Kenner Super Powers figures (Batman, Superman, Penguin). Later I got into G.I. Joe. My first ones were Falcon and Sneak Peak. I'm now a huge G.I. Joe collector.

Other than a few Masters Of The Universe figures and G.I. Joe figures.
I had a Mr. T figure, Blackstar and Overlord from the Blackstar toyline, and a pretty cool generic figure called Dragonman I can't remember what the toyline he came from was called though.
I also had several figures from the Hercules toyline.

The Wayne Manor set I remember being awesome, I always wanted it when I was a kid but I never got it. Looking forward to this summer's The Dark Knight line, I will probably buy up what I can of the larger collectible figures.
