I didnt' think spoiler warning was needed because this is in the trailer. When Peter is on his moped and HarryGoblin attacks him, why didn't his SpidySense warn him?

Because Sam Raimi cared more about dance routines than he cared about continuity.

What didn't bug you about Spider-Man 3 should be the name of this thread hehe.
The symbiote didn't meld with Spidey till later in the film, why didn't he sense it getting on the moped, or when it first started bonding to him? Sam is lucky he did the Evil Deads, cause he lost serious pointage with me on Spider-Man 3.

Worst super hero movie ever after that whole Bat man fiasco.
I can't tell you how disappointed I was with that hunk of crap.
Time to re-cast and re-tool the entire series.

I wasn't pleased. But it was not the worst Super Hero movie ever. We're talking about a genre with Spiderman 4: The Quest for Peace, Catwoman, and Elektra. It may not have lived up to your expectations (it certainly didn't live up to mine) but that doesn't make it worst by default. Or maybe it does. I don't know. You have your opinion, but I'd hate to see overreaction.
Retool the series? Yes. Recast? Was the cast the problem, or was it the script?

Spiderman's Spider-Sense went bye-bye after the first movie; where have you been?
If they had kept it intact up until Venom, he would have looked even more threatening because he is invisible to it.
Not that Venom should have been there in the first place; he's like the guy that shows up to the party uninvited and hogs the spotlight in the process.
Eddie Brock is a pretty talented guy in Spiderman 3. He managed to figure out how to use his powers in presumably 15 minutes, deduced that he should team up with Sandman, tracked him down, and convinced him to go out for Spiderman's blood in a very short span of time.

Seriously though, I liked Spider-Man 3. That's right I liked it, as much as the other ones! Yeah it was the "worst of the series" to me, but that's like saying I like Filet Mignon less then Lobster.

The one thing that bugged me about Spider-Man 3 was simply the fact there were too many characters and storylines in too little time.

Spiderman's Spider-Sense went bye-bye after the first movie; where have you been? He had it in part 2. The scene in the coffee shop where Doc Otc kidnapps Mary Jane. we get a freaky closeup of Kirstin Dunst's lips and the sound FX occurs peter pushes her out of teh way (Thanks to Conan O'Brien I laugh at that scene because he once showed a "deleted" part of it). I liked 3 warts and all. Granted it had the same formula as the first two, villain gets clued into how to "get at Spiderman's heart" and kidnaps MJ. MJ almost falls, gets saved. Villain redems himself and dies (ok, Venom doesn't but Sandman and HarryGoblin did). But I do agree with RVD, that dance sequence was lame (to be more specific, both of them)

If they had just set up the symbiote/Eddie Brock story in 3 while having Petey battle Harry and Sandman, close 3 with the smybiote and Brock merging into Venom, and had 4 be a titantic balls-to-the-wall Spidey/Venom rumble, everyone would've been so much happier....

I loved Spiderman 4: The Quest For Peace. HA! Nice catch! ;D OOOOPS I do agree with Teen Wolf here. The acting was good. The action was neat. There was just too much going on, and possible good storytelling got dropped because of it. Personally, I thought you could have dropped Sandman altogether. Maybe saved him for another one. He was a cool special effect, but that doesn't make a good villain. I also really hated that they made him Uncle Ben's killer. If they had time to tell a story, they wouldn't have needed this cheap cop out to add emotion. It also kind of sours future viewings of part 1. They should've focused on Venom because they'd already set up the story in Part 2. John Jameson was going into space, so have him return with the venom. Instead a meteorite conveniently falls to earth for no reason and Venom just gets dropped into the story. Too bad. We've still got Lizard hanging around for a part 4 though.

Agreed completely, and I've said the exact same thing many times before. That being said, I was really disappointed the first time I watched it, but have liked it alittle more with each viewing
