On Monday I decided to upgrade to Comcast HD, when I got it hooked up, None of the display menus would show up on the screen, and the picture wouldn't frame itself to my TV properly. Tuesday I brought the box back to swap out for another one, Now the colors are all f***ed up, and messing around with the tint, color, and whatnot on my TV did nothing. Yesterday I went back to Comcast to swap it out for my third f***ing box in a week, and they said they don't have any untill Friday.
The color is seriously f***ed on this thing. I'm trying to watch a Red Sox game and the Green Monster is almost blue! It's not the TV because I switched it over to the DVD player and everything was correct on that. My TV is an HD set, so I don't get this. Hopefully Friday I can get a new box and this will be the end of it.
Comcast, your service sucks!

Seriously, you coulda left "HD" out of the header, and your statement woulda been no less true.
I'd suggest just getting ComCrap out there to install it. Everyone I know who's had HD cable service--on ANY provider--has had nothing but problems until they had the cable company come out and do the hook-up.

I've never had an issue with their cable, just their phone service and it was taken care of quickly.

Heh. WWE HD programs don't even work on my Comcast HD.
Well, they work, but the lag/pixelation is so bad its like trying to watch a streaming video on a circa-1995 modem.

The same can be said about Time Warner, I had them to install the Road Runner service and it them about a week to finish the job they started on the first day.
It took me calling the supervisor and threatening to cancel the subscription to start with multiple times before they finally came and finished. I got a discount on my service for like the first 6 months or so and that was cool.
But as far as Time Warner their HD sucks just because there are no channels for it. I don't get USA, SCI-FI, or really anything outside of ESPN and ESPN2 that are worthwile in HD.

Comcast does suck. My family finally decided to upgrade our cable, but instead of Vios they just upgraded our comcast. Thank God its only for a free month or two...then I'll convince my family to go vios.
WWE HD is un-watchable.
My parents just got a new HD TV upstairs and the color is all screwed up, like a previous poster said. The Redsox in HD looked awful, plus theres this unecessary letter box thing going on. Its not a big TV, only 37 inches or so...so the letter box makes things worst.
The color looks fine on the big HD TV downstairs, but WWE in HD still sucks. All HD kind of sucks.

This!!! and the fact I wanted to watch WrestleMania 24 in HD this year and I called and they said WWE didn't offer WM in HD, therefore I yelled with anger and hung up.

I had a problem w/ mine when i first got it, turns out it was the type of coax cable i had bought at bestbuy. Comcast brought me out a new one, and everything worked fine.

Doesn't Comcast claim to be "Comcastic"? If so, then they're anything but "t3h C0mC45t1c5z!"
Stupid internet-leet inspired slogan.

Yeah Comcast in general sucks. the On Demand is fun, when it works. But for the channel lineup they throw at me, it's a ridiculous price to pay.

Comcast blows goats, but sadly I don't have much choice here. I can't afford a dish.

I had DirecTV but man it seemed like it went out all the time. The wind would blow hard and I'd lose my signal. I really wish I could get the FIOS service, but I live in the country in South Carolina, so there is no shot of me ever getting it more than likely.

I have no complaints with Comcast.
When you got the HD box did you use the cables they provided? all that does is allow the picture on the HD channels to actually show up, you need to get monster cables on an HDMi connection. If thats not the problem I dunno what to tell ya.
