Burgos is going to be one of the top setup man in the NL in a year or two...it'll even out. Top Set-up man, like... Bartolome Fortunato? Fortuanato never had the stuff that Burgos has.

Agreed. Back in winter 2004, who knew that letting go of Martinez and Derek Lowe would be probably the best decision Theo Epstein made not involving trading Nomar Garciaparra? Saved the franchise $90 million and made suckers out of the Dodgers and Mets. Attaboy, Theodore.

I would think the 2 WS's and a team that's in contention year in and year out should be enough.

But they could have more than two WS if not for some of those moves. Like signing Orlando Cabrera to an extension instead of paying more money for Edgar Renteria. And then when they had Alex Gonzalez, they let him go and spent more money on Julio Lugo. Pretty much zero stability at the SS position since 2005. And then there's trading away Josh Bard and Cla Meredith for Doug Mirabelli. He's made some good moves, but quite a few bad ones. He doesn't take nearly enough heat for the bad decisions he's made. I'm not really complaining, although I kinda am. Very happy with 2 WS, but he's made some bad trades and signings.

I loved Renty here with Atlanta, and he's recently stated that he wants to finish his carrer with the Braves rather starting or on the bench, and I'd love to see it. I get what your saying, but still, you can't complain but so much. It's like rich people complaining about the price of gas or food.

Jays beat the Yanks 5-2. Good times when A-Rod strikes out, just as he does every at bat he's expected to do something of use. ;D
EDIT: 5-2, not 5-3.
