Seriously hoping right now that everyone in has either made it out okay, or that there's nobody home.
As of now, there are three fire trucks. I haven't seen anybody rushed out. I'm on the second floor of my house in the living room, and I can taste the smoke from here. At first I though that incense was burning somewhere, but my mother's friend (who lives on the first floor) called me and I found out what it really was.

I hope everyone is alright. Keep us updated. Same here. Glad it's not your house, and hopefully your neighbors were elsewhere when it started.

Man when I read the title of this I was like "CALL 911 STOP TYPING!" then I saw you said there were already fire trucks there and was calmed down. umm... perhaps you should help? The F.D. is already there. There is nothing he can do other then get in the way and be a looky-loo.

We had one of these a block away the other week. It's creepy to see.
At least the house was empty at the time (by me).

A few have happened in my town, but none nearby. Then again, where I live the houses aren't too close and I only have two neighbors really.
My great aunt showed me a bad one owned by a lady she knew. It didn't even start in her house, but she lived in those brick row homes. They said about how the brick walls were designed to keep fires out, but the attics pretty much all connect... heat rises and they're usually filled with easily flammable stuff like Christmas decorations.

Given the time of day I bet most everyone was out of the house. I just hope(beyond my hope that no people were hurt) that they didn't have any pets. That's what happened when I was a kid. We were all gone at work or school but my poor dog couldn't escape.
I just hope everyone is fine and that they had insurance.
