It all begins and ends with Cedar Point. Milennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor... anyone who disagrees is a commie!
So whatever Milennium Force and Raptor are categorized under, those. Those rides are what roller coaster perfection are... and the ONLY roller coasters I've ever been on (I've been to just about every amusement park in America) that I can say the 4 hour wait was worth it.

I have to say that Cedar Point looks insane yet brilliant. You may have inadvertently chosen my next holiday, lol

Agreed with the above - I've been to many parks in my lifetime and NONE of them compares with The Point. N.O.N.E. The Raptor, while almost 14 years old, is still my favorite. I jokingly say it's better than sex. ;D I love sitting on the ground and watching the people as they reach the top - it's what I call the Oh Crap! moment. They're happy as can be, talking to the people next to them, swinging their legs back and forth... then they get to the top and start to turn and almost in unison, everyone completely goes stiff. YAY, found a video online - wish I could be there right now. ca.youtube.com/watch?v=OcYj8d8d35w

I love about all of them, outside of standing coasters. After being outside in the hot sun all day and getting swamp ass in the process, the last thing that I want is to have a coaster shove a support between my cheeks.

It's been years since I've been to a theme park but I like the big, scary ones.

Outside of county fairs I've only been to one amusement park - World's of Fun in Kansas City.
Its a pretty cool place - not too big or too small and has some fun rides - Timberwolf, Orient Express (now gone), the OmegaTron (awesome ride that's gone now too), the Bamboozler, the Mamba and a few others.
I need to get out to Six Flags here in cali somtime.

I've only been to Disney World in Florida in the states. But I've been to Alton Towers, Chessington, Thorpe Park and Lightwater Valley in England. Oblivion still stands head and shoulders over most, but Colossus at Thorpe is dammed good fun. Plus the hilarity of Thorpe's Tidal Wave big splash is pure comedy.

I have to always ride at least one coaster when I go to a park or the day feels unfullfilled.
I prefer the wooden ones, or if not that, anything with a big drop.

I'm suprised the enclosed rollercoasters aren't getting too much love.
